Thanks for this! It really helps to get the ball rolling to see simple working examples.

Some time ago I have written polish notation calc in BREXX, then I have made similar thing in regular REXX.

I've provided my first Brexx Enchanced veraion some time ago to Peter and Mike.. They brought this version to a "commercial" version... Great Job!

i don't have a mainframe but I used rexx to write a simple repl on Linux using interpret as you mentioned. some implementations of rexx come with a repl but it's easy to set one up.. 🙂

Thanks for that tutorial :) I started learning Rexx running on TK5, partly following the instructions in the Game of Life video, but I got stuck at the PULL command not being able to get data from the user, returning an empty string immediately. Maybe it's a very stupid beginner mistake. I'll try FSS instead ;)

I love this chanel and videos, I must admit though I miss the original intro music.

Sorry. KZbin won’t let me play this 45 year old music that exists in source MIDI code and is clearly not copyright. Can’t fight the bad guys at KZbin

Great introduction for a beginner like myself to explore REXX. Is the BREXX user’s guide publicly available somewhere? Thank you for a great channel.

Great.. you're using a brexx370 user guide on the right side of the screen. Where can I find it ?
