Having driven an ‘89 560SEC I can assure you these cars drive as good or better than any new car made in the last 20 years. Including Mercedes itself.

The 500 had no emission controls, only the 560

My 560 SEC from 1988 (Euromodel) has 279 hp. Without catalytic converter it would have 300 hp. It still drives very well and the mileage (12-15 l/ 100 km) is not to bad considering the displacement and age if you drive smoothly.

People just don't get it I mean look at this car this looks like an early nineties car and it's not this is an 80s car on mid-80s car and this thing looks like it should belong in the early nineties just like Fords what is this it looks so futuristic they used it and Back to the Future the movie they use it in a lot of futuristic movies and stuff like that and also I think they use the I mean but this car looks like it's from the early nineties like this is this is not an 80s car I just can't believe it is it's crazy how ahead of us they were and just presentation is styling and how something looks it doesn't happen really look fantastic but it looks modern as hell
