Why is HBAR $0.32 compared to ETH $4,000 😱

Today I wanted to discuss the price of #HBAR vs #ETH and explain the reasons behind their perceived values.
In this video, I'm going to give my opinion as to why I think these prices are so drastically different and what I think will happen in the near future.

Excellent explanation that I hope gets accross to people that are new to crypto. The only reason BTC and ETH have the market caps they have is directly linked to the corruption of the American regulators giving the crypto market false guidance in regards to these two projects in 2018 which lead to the massive growth in these projects between 2018 and 2021. Once the world wakes up to xrp/xdc/hbar/quant/cardano/flare/etc etc etc etc they will pull all their money out of eth and it will most likely die or come close to dying. I don't wish bad on eth and I believe that btc still has a strong future as a savings mechanism but the corruption of Joe leuben, consensys, eth foundation, Brooklyn project, US SEC and the key big banks in the USA can not be ignored much longer.

Hei , like your clip. A better comparison to the purchase of Hedera would have been to the purchase of a drill or any household utility. When buying a drill , most people tend to use it , but the trend now is buying drills and waiting for their value to go up .This coin has a utility and will be bought by people who will find it s utility .Hopefully more people will find out the advantages of this coin and start to use it instead of just trading it like a commodity.

You seem to forget the fact that Hbar - at this point in time - is highly inflationary, as large chunks of coins are getting released periodically. Not a bad thing, as I believe that already about 28 Billion Hbar are in circulation, leaving another 22 Billion to be released in the next few years. As more Hbar are out there, and provided the number of transactions on the main net keeps growing exponentially, the price will catch up, and eventually, when all Hbars are released, I can see a substantial price jump. Seeing that the most recent release has happened a lot earlier than planned, we may just be a few years away from the moment of truth...

Great content. I am a true believer of the potencial Hedera has to grow as a platform to be used worldwide. However I'm not sure about the HBAR price in the future. In their whitepaper I read stuff like: "It is also tailored to match projected user needs to discourage excessive speculation in the coins." (talking about the release schedule) Doesn't this mean that in order for the project to grow they don't want a big value increase on the HBAR? Maybe I misunderstood, English is not my first language. Anyway, thank you for your videos, they're great.

I love the explanation and agree, but I still have no idea how it could translate to the market. People are crazy, do crazy things. I was mining ETH 7 years ago. Built my own rig. Still own some. If we compare apples with apples, the amount of coins in HBAR is 100 times more than Eth, so the most that Hbar can goes is around $40, still 100X + the price today.

Check out the taxi in Back To The Future 2. It has these window frame bars that were put on it that actually say HBAR. That movie has hints of crypto way back in 1985. Also that same taxi has what looks to be the XRP logo. Can you imagine buying hundreds of thousands of HBAR under a penny? Oh my

I agree, of course, with what you say here. Of the crypto I've invested in, HBar, by far exceeds the others. This is on the basis of the promise of their technology and the fact that they have backing of large companies who, I assume, must know what they're doing. But from the standpoint of investment (i.e., making a return on your investment), HBar is currently at about the price I bought it at. So I have been tempted to take a large portion of what I have in HBar to invest elsewhere, and to return to HBar when there is reason to believe that there will be movement in the price.

Hi DorianLS the trick is knowing when that is, the last time Hbar 10 X’d it did it within 24 hours and has stayed there ever since. Not that, that means it will happen again in the same way, just be careful you don’t get off the rocket and then it takes off without you! 👍🏻

Hm Fantom utilizes DAG Technology better and has a better ecosystem, I invested in both coins but Fantom looks like the clear winner to me. Coti also good DAG!

I’ve literally never heard of FTM, Hedera’s governing council are some of the larger firms in the world, as are their customers and they’ve just created the larger (10 Billion) foundation to help businesses build their products on their platform so I’d be surprised if absolutely no one cares. Have both. More HBAR. Fantom was a lucky shoot up within a week. Still have few for long term. Personal opinion is HBAR and similar are being skillfully kept off the radar still. Whole shib and doge are used to create crypto football. Part of the same old game of "let the peasants have bread and circuses" while large money accumulating and getting positioned. More to it than that but already long reply. P.S. have bit of coti too.

@@janellc900 Hey thanks for the answer, yes HBAR is a technical powerhouse and I like the coin, but Fantom getting all the buzz lately because of DeFi 2.0 and Spell/Ice working with Fantom. Fantom has nice integration in many more famous projects and I never did something with my Hbar tokens, but maybe it is my bad :D Will keep both!

A token with a price of $1 which has a supply of 100 million tokens and a token priced at $10 which has a supply of 10 million are actually valued equally. Most newcomers would look at the token valued at $1 and think it’s cheap, or that the project must not be as good as the token worth $10.

Jesus how many times: market cap and value are NOT the same thing, it’s really important you get your head around this, we’ve been in a boom since 2011 and all boats rise in the tide. Want to not lose your house like so many who were also investment experts in 2008, learn the difference between Market Cap and value.
