Thank You so much Mr. Tony , I appreciate it , it was so helpful when you mentioned the balance between parallel compression and the dynamics on their own !!! Thanks a lot!!!

To me, Tony is one of the most intimidating mixers because I don't think I could ever quite do what he does. He has this way of making all his tracks compact and almost "small" sounding and yet hugely impacting. I just don't get it.

always learn something when u least excpect it,.. Ive always used Parallel comp by sending the main drum subgroup signal via aux to my Para.Comp..Id never thought of fine tuning it by sending from the individual drum tracks,..so simple but for some reason I never came to that conclusion by myself,..Cheers Toni!!

I'd much rather hear more about technique than what specific gear is used, this industry is way too focused on gear!

Maserati is rarely going to go into extreme detail on how he does things. But he’ll usually offer solid roadmaps to get you in the right direction.

I only produce Christian music. If you have moral guidelines, live by them. Tony's opinion on this should not determine what you will do. Do what God tells you to do. If you don't believe in God, do the right thing. Don't make music that contributes to the degradation of society. Simple.
@RyanLMain8 жыл бұрын
+vegan x What does the word sellout mean? Making money doing something you don't 100% love. In that case, anyone who has a job is a sellout. IMO, Sellout is a term used by the young (and often naive) who haven't worked yet. I mean NO offense to you. I recently had a conversation with an artist about this very thing - and after 30 minutes of chatting, we concluded this. I'd rather mix anything than do my IT sales job, for example. Is that selling out?
