Wayne was in the Bureau for 29 years and worked Foreign counterintelligence cases, recruiting and debriefing high-level defectors from Eastern Bloc countries during the cold war. He was responsible for developing the Personal Security Interview in the 1980's, which is now utilized throughout the U.S. Government for certain applicants and security positions.
He also worked the Robert Hanssen case involving a spy in the Bureau.
Wayne works as a private investigator in Florida for major clients. He also made famous the FBI Pizza Call.
