you can also just put the right stick in the bottom left corner and the left stick in the upper right or the other way around this mainly works on very steep jumps

Correct and you can do oppos in sooo many ways i just think this is one of the best ways and it looks so sick bruh one thing we all need to watch and learn is that most of the good oppo's are in a very steep jumps that kicks you at the right angle and since there is not too many jumps like this in the game i really recommend checking this map and learn how to oppo on this map There is a way to oppo whip in a malow jumps but its very hard and it isnt looking as good as those ones^ ^

so it depends on what way you want to oppo to be if you want to oppo to the left than at first turn a bit right and than go full out on the left when you allmost in mid air that way you will get the kick from the jump just to the left oppo position if you need any help with that you can get in my discord server and i will help you out with it

Your doing them wrong an oppo is like doing an Alley Oop on a skateboard or BMX Bike on a Half Pipe your floating the "OPPOSITE" where your body moves sideways in the opposite direction that you are whipping the bike and doing it correctly at least IRL you need to be carving up the lip a lot more.

that's still a game witch isn't still the best with physics but i get what you are saying and i have done oppos like you say but they are not the best for some1 who want to start doing oppos . this is how i think players should start. i dont know where the oppo came from, and i think oppo is not something specific for mx just cause style is very different even whey you do regular whip it wont look the same for each player cause each one has his own style he gives to the bike

imma might do another one cause the new 450 cant clear this jump like i did right there if you want to clear the jump you will have to go outside of the track it self if i do another one i will try to talk clearly and i will setup my mic better thanks for the being honest it will help me later on my next videos
