I have no faith in THQ they really dropped the ball when mx vs atv alive was released and furthered their IPs destruction with supercross. They have never been the same especially after the bankruptcy. They also never try anything new like a track creator and or just a content creator. Thats why milestone exceeds although they have been wacked out with physics there is still replay value other than 2 years of the same tracks on legends and have to wait for the devs. In this day and age paid DLC is archaic and yet again legends won't live long.

I feel like THQ is a huge company in the same way that EA is - they care just enough to make money. Passion project games made by people who love what they’re making (Skate, MX Simulator, even Gran Turismo) will always produce higher quality games. I bet they’d try harder if someone else actually gave them some competition.

I just can't get over the physics. The fact that you can overshoot a jump by 15 ft, land to flat mid corner, stop on a dime and correct just looks silly. Zero consequences to bad riding just isn't fun for me.

In career mode, how do i select the bike i want to ride? i m always locked to a 125, wtf? i select a 250 while at the compound, and when i go back to career race, it switches me back to a 125, while all other riders are riding the 250 4 stroke....I don t get it

Can't clear any jumps on 250f fulled modded. Something has to be wrong with my controller not putting full input or something. Bike is going about 25% the speed of yours.

So what's the trick to carry and maintain speed? Sometimes I can go fast but it seems most of the time I'm just bogging and randomly going slow like I'm stuck in quicksand for no apparent reason. It's not the manual trans bug people are getting. I had that at first but once I went in a selected auto it hasn't randomly changed back on me.

It's meant to be the part of a seat bounce where you come up off the seat, but it's completely narked. They should have made it where it's about timing when you leave the jump rather than just breaking laws of physics

The reason why the Milestone games are alive because they have replayabilty with the contenr creator and track creator. Polished tracks are good, user created tracks however give more replay value and freedom. The preset tracks are good for a year and then their old slimey DLC Schemes rolls around which doesn't do any favors to the playerbase and devs

Yes you play the career then after you play a certain track you unlock it in quick play.

@@othmanelmhannaoui4244 I've only played about an hour so far. It's a little glitchy and the physics can be a bit strange when bumping terrain or other riders. The game is fun though and the physics are pretty challenging, haven't gotten used to them quite yet.

It isn’t lol I mean its only 40$ but I still think it’s to much for what we got and I was a sucker and bought the 60$ version I mean it’s fun especially if you play in first person but the graphics and animations look really bad like worse than all out even 😂 like the hands when you rev up you only see the arm either from the up frame or the down frame there’s no smooth animations for it 😂😂 to put it short this game should have been on gamepass day one or way cheaper like 20$, 40$ should have been the ultimate edition

It definitely looks like it could use some improvement but I've been a fan of these games since my childhood, I did my best to enjoy All Out but it ended up falling short of what I loved about all these games. I like the look of the physics a lot more than All Out that's for sure. If you don't mind me asking, what don't you care for as far as the air physics go? That weird stand up air boost thing really needs to go, everyone looks like they're humping the bike as they go through the air. Aside from that I feel like the air physics look solid, especially when compared to All Out. The bike was weightless and there was no gravity.

It’s enjoyable if you play in first person but it has so many problems it makes sense why people hate it like for me my biggest problem is they don’t have a simple controller option so if I wanna play on manual I have to shift with the sticks and I use A/B. I play on automatic but the AI are so dumb I can win easily on GOAT difficulty lol it’s still a funish game they just got a lot to patch. They should have just delayed it another year tbh

In real life..u would click up to 3rd & somtimes even 4th on the Lites bikes ..just 3rd on supercross bike..but idk if the game is exactly correct with real life...in the early 2000s i raceed in 2 seasons as a privateer..then dropped back to arenacross..best part of my life forsure...theres not a day that goes by that i dont miss it

This is what I've been wondering. I remember seeing some of the first gameplay they released, and personally, I didn't think it looked too good. Then Windham151 had his first look gameplay at the farm compound, and that actually looked pretty cool. Then yesterday, with the flood of "reviews" and first impressions showing up on KZbin, the game again looked worse/different. And very few people seem to notice or care about it. I don't know. Think I'm going to have to wait a while before spending any money on this.

This game would be good if they actually put time into it lol the intros to the tracks look like they’re from unleashed or something and they barley put any options like screen settings, control buttons layout and the load screen jesus I have a series x and I still end up waiting like 2 minutes on some load screens. Even after the 10 gb update this morning shit didn’t fix anything lol this game should have been delayed atleast another year then maybe the would have had enough time to atleast add a button layout option😂 I will say the riding in first person is just as good if not better than all out can’t say much for the third person camera since I don’t use it cause the animations are horrible. This game could have been great and a return for the mx vs atv franchise but they rushed it and fucked it up. Did I even mention how bad the AI is? They completely suck in any trails track i give them like a 30 second head start on G.O.A.T mode the hardest difficulty and I can still beat them by a significant amount of time lol the only time they are actually decent is in the supercross tracks and only cause they get unrealistic launches. They could hit a ramp coming from a dead stop and clear a triple that I have to get perfect and hold all my momentum just to barely clear it, it’s pretty ridiculous reminds me of the supercross games. If they would just patch the long load screens fix the terrain popping in and out of frame and add more options like display, button layout, and race options this would be one of my favorite mx vs atv games but rn all out was better in every way except for the graphics and frame rate but even then it’s mediocre at best compared to other next gen games like F1 2022.

The game is decent on xbox series x. It only glitches a little bit. The game is unplayable on xbox one. The frame rate on xbox one is a joke. The graphics are also worse. The game reminds me of cyberpunk where it was only designed for next gen consoles. I would rate the game a 7/10 for series X and 3/10 for xbox one. There is definitely room for improvement though. I would recommend mx vs atv all out over this game
