@hayesiq thank you, this has been a great video! Trying to do this repair now. Reached out to Tap to see if they have another power supply for sale. Not seeing a part number for the full board. On the MIDI input once you purchased the adapter, what were you connecting the midi adapter source to for audio out? I understand the Pianosoft app to some MIDI output device (item in question- such as a newer disklavier?) > adapter> into piano MIDI in. Thanks!

Hello! You actually won’t buy a new power supply. You will send yours to tap electronics in California and they will refurbish it for you. Make sure you talk to Sal! And then the app that you will use is called Pianostream!

Richie - thanks for your awesome work. I have one of these pianos. I bought the Yamaha DKC850 to work with this. The power supply blew up and took a while to get a new one back. It is working now. However, the music sounds broken. Do you have any tips or perhaps a video on how to connect the DKC to MX100 II? There is no connector for this, so perhaps you can shed some light on it for me please! Appreciate your inputs

We plugged in the MD-BT01 it did connect however there is another adapter next to that labeled FOOT SW ,do we need anything else ? The MD-BT01 is not connecting to the piano using Piano Stream .Thanks

Hello Trevor. Yes. It will. It’s you $700 and yes you can easily do the work yourself. Be careful not to touch the back of the circuit board when you pull it out of the piano it could zap ⚡️ you really good! I actually had one blow a hole in my fingernail one time not even kidding! After you pull it out, put it on a piece of cardboard so that the electronics can’t be shorted and then wrap it with bubble wrap and put it in a box and ship it to Sal at TAP electronic. Their number: [phone] It’s definitely worth doing! You’ll have Pianostream up and running before you know it!
