dope work. As advanced as DAWs are now days, I find it hard to replicate the groove that these older grooveboxes where able to achieve.

I hear you. First of all its workflow and focus. It's because these instruments are limited in some ways it shines because you get your idea on paper real quick. If you are looking for the sounds and grooves there are bunch of grooves available in Ableton that mimic MPC swing, gets you one step closes :) hope that helps. ✌️

A korg ds8 is a dirt cheap vintage digital 4 op fm synth. I basically just have my MPC, a JX8P, the DS8, and a FB01

nope, synth sounds are sampled from my synths and there are some vocals from random yt acapellas
