2019 wins.The bike physics with the movement and player animation is much more dynamic. Plus the track detail is better. The sense of speed is better. Just overall better. 2020 seems so stiff

​@@Levioncrozz I tried but they all seriously just the same shit with a few main things like the Shader Systems, Bike Feel "Slow or Agile", and Progression that have all been used since SX2 and whenver they moved to UE4. Its like they just like the Dice to see which combo to choose for the year coming. Their Character Models and my God, that Race Start Girl have not changed in seemingly 10 years. At thi point its almost offensive and I dont support their Lazy asses. Ive worked in 3d Design, Modelling, Animation, In EU4, other Engines, for 20 years and I could handle the entire annual releases if I followed their plan theyve used over the years. Dead Serious. - They had 1 Noticeable Improvement in 2020 or 2021 when they increased the poly count for all the 3D Assets with the Bikes, Wearables, etc) Thats about it. But even for a 12-15GB game, they still felt the need to Cut 2/3s of the Player Content of Helmets, Suits, Boots, etc) even though most were still recycled from previous titles (asset recycling isnt a bad thing, especially for sports as one could imagine it would be dumb not to recycle them if you can) But yeah, they went ahead and just chopped off over half that shit for reasons i cant see justifying. Plus they still cant fuckin provide even different bike Deval kits and shit, its just pathetic. If you dont want to make the fucking content, Give the players a simple little Livery/Gear Editor like Forza or GT Sport/7 would add insane value to the product for every title after. Again, I am very competent in UE4 and its something even I could Hash out with a Blueprint for UE4 in 5 days because i dont know how destructive they created the games overall logic and systems and how the work together. Could be so bad thats the reason the barely change anything. - One my most Hated things involves the Tire Physics and The Best Example i can give that Something seemingly important in my opinion has stayed the exactly the same since the EU4 switch to now. Its so noticeable now, that I cant not see it. Its the Bike Wheel Speeds and how they work/move/spin in relation to your actual speed and "interaction" with ground visible ground surface. (btw, which is an illusion that most racing games do for sake of performance), Anyways, the Bike's Wheels actual Speeds are obvious it has zero ties anything dynamic or remotely complex which would be #1 on my list for a Dirt Bike Games, but never the less its a canned animation thats capped at like 30-40mph (which always looks weird as fuck and kill immersion) and likely running off an extremely simple code. If you havnt noticed, start it up and look, this stuff is just not an excuse anymore and looks like the bike totally wheel speed is completely disconnected from the terrain surface and in another world to a degree that MX Bikes and other Indie titles do much better. Just another lazy decision to think "The motion blur should cover most that shit up so lets not even worry about it...." so that hasnt changed in 8 titles? yet, its something that could be massively improved on. - Alright so im can go on and on but Ill just fininsh by saying, Ill stick with PRO and SX3 untill the fully Upgrade it EU5 and start using all of the massive benifets from its LUMEN lighting, NIAGRA Physics, IK Solver Dynamics Animation Systen, Its Insane NANITE system for near limitless Detail with Geometry makiing LODs Models and Swapping finally something that needed to die along time ago just like many of the others things that the Systems of Listed Do for in there respective Job. Seriously, if they even just did LUMEN lighting, NIAGRA particles, and used even a select few of the 15!!!!! amazing different physics logic/systems that target specific purposes and those alone would change the game to unrecognizable and 10x better, with little resources and time. So yeah, MILESTONE to me a Studio that a lost complete respect for and wont give them a dime until I see some actual sincere errfots in actual trying to innovate this game thats been Flipped and Repainted 8 fucking times over. Its so Shameless and just embarresing at this point for a Developer of that size. My money is one a Shitty Upper Management and lack of any love for the actual Sport, Clearly. - Thanks for the reply though, Brother. I appreciate it. I didnt mean to go off like that and its not directed at you at all. Tear those games up and have fun if they bring you joy, but Im just tired and waiting for there to be a real upgrade to a MX Title i can only hope will come one day. My attitude ts out of frustration that so many easy things can be done and they are just not even attempting. Its more so a spit in the face to the customer every year they shit out another carbon copy thats almost 7 behind in nearly everything that studios of their supposed competence and size have zero excuse for.

Check out the game called Mx Bikes and look up 125 sound mods, on pc tho but it is what we all want in any MX game. Someone get it right for god sake, how awefull has Mx vs Atv become, drives me nuts! The sounds are a joke.

MX vs ATV has definitely gone down since THQ went under and Nordic isn't really making it better but Milestone has really made MXGP and Supercross games a lot better over the years. Their first game for MX was MUD

@@qdn7720 Why come at me like an asshole? The biggrst thing you need to understand is all these games "are not" SIMULATORS. They are arcade racers. Second, I do right and have for over 20 years. I own a 2010 wr450f 65whp supermoto conversion and a 63whp KX450F for ATV purposes. So yeah, I ride on anything from tight trails, the dunes, atv parks, gp tracks, that are all here in Oregon. The shit slides because people dont realize when that when they are mashing the R2 button on full throttle on a fucking race bike with a lot of power it will break grip and spin its tires so fast and easily which would cause it to slide. It happens to me all the time when i'm pushing the bikes to their limits. for example I could be riding in 3rd gear on a nice sweeping left hander going 40 at half throttle and if I just go full throttle the tires will break loose and slide without issue. So most these people who play these arcade like MX/SX games are constantly hitting FULL THROTTLE even around corners and IRL you dont do that shit. So IRL, if you were to do that shit you would low side because the tire would lose traction immediately or you would be in a controlled drift/slide if your a good enough rider. So dont come at me like an ignorant child insulting me because I tend to have my own fucking opinion. Also whatever its worth, I think 2019 is a better "game"

The flow got so much worse in 2020. They ruined the handling, especially the slow speed stuff where the bike automatically just picots on the spot. That and the understeer is just insane. The last mxgp game i played was 3 but I played supercross 3 a lot and this is so much worse gameplay wise. Visually its amazing though.

the SX games have a completely different physics model than the GP games. the sx games are about huge jumps and flow while the GP games are more about higher speeds and weight. If they cut and pasted SX3 physics to a GP game, it just wouldnt work.

@@d3tach3d I think you’re probably right there, but I really feel like the handling in MXGP2020 is underwhelming honestly. SX3 is so much more polished and consistent in its handling feel. 2020’s handling just lacks feel and consistency imo. I feel like they could have, and should have done better. Not to mention the audio bug in MP that hasn’t been fixed since like mxgp 3 or something. In 2020 I also have an audio bug of the xp count up sound that never stops playing after 1 race. To get it to stop I have to restart the game. I get that it’s a small team making the games, but these seem like obvious oversights to me.

I agree, i have them all and PRO is the one I always go back to. The riding mechanics always felt right. Every mistake always felt like it was my fault for pushing it to far to the edge. Plus I just love how the bike mechanics feel. Than when it comes to the SX games I liked 2s feel but 3 wasnt a grind fest.

In 2020 it looks like they removed proper details like the movement of the rider is more stiff and arcade like in 2020 which bad and also even things like the puddles I the ground look so much better in 2019 also the tracks seemed to have shrunk in 2020 which I weird, also the shape of the people looks really bad, overall 2019 is far better everything when it come to realism, but with 2020 I feel like they went for a more arcade like game but personally I don’t like it wish they just enhanced 2019 or even kept graphics the same but just added like cutscenes and way more detail to the modes that are in game like a proper career mode with cutscenes and decisions to take you down a certain path maybe even interviews that you get to choose what you say to change your path

What i hate the most about this game is how many freaking sponsor signs that they put every were on the track that make you fall coz bikes don’t grip ! Some track are ok and others just retarded how slippery they are even on dry soil😩 i guess this is milestone way of making it a harder track to ride, how dumb and lazy way to do it🤔
