Prado is gonna be FUN to watch, now that's it's going to be F/T for 3 years. (And yeah, they will pick up that option!). The Coenen brothers would be absolutely exciting to see in the USA, and suddenly the Lawrence Brothers aren't the only sibling stars on the gate. They still have some headlines to make in MXGP though. And that's what's gonna keep lots of them in MXGP. As these power riders move on and others retire, the MXGP titles are much easier to compete for, so why would you leave? And that's good. I pay $150 a year for MXGP-TV and never regret it. But it will be a lot more exciting to watch as my US moto filler/supplement if the field is wide open and packed with competitive talent. Should be an exciting 2025 season all around!

I'm usually the last guy to jump on the nationalism bandwagon, but these guys will be taking up resources that could otherwise go to amateur racers here, who are ready to make a move to the pros. Maybe the MXGP/FIM will react to their top riders going to race SX and get paid appropriately by jumping ship and create their own SX series, which, in time, would likely grow and make more money available for their own guys. Prado will have a very hard time placing top 5 this coming season and podium the next year. He has to beat both Lawrences, Tomac, Sexton, Webb, Plessinger, Roczen, Stewart, Bacia, Anderson, and Deegan (2026)......that's a very tall order. In mx he stands a chance but not in SX. DeWolf is going to be in the same boat as Vialle. He is starting way behind in SX. Practicing isn't racing.....If they want to be SX champions they need to start that career path sooner or else they will be playing catch up for a long time. Twenty years ago US amatuers had a hard time finding a SX track they would be allowed to ride but nowdays they ride SX with the rest of the team. That is a big difference.

US should have the age limit in the lites class
@maverick22422 ай бұрын
They did, they changed it so they could create a social benefit class and let riders struggling in the 450 class come back down do Star and POC could win titles, its killing the amatuers graduating from Loretta's success its a 2 coast series in SX it was always a feeder class, now they are trying to legitimize it, instead of the best racers racing each other they go where they can win a fake title and beat up on the new kids, I have no issue with that outdoors as its a full series and they learn more from the older pro and will still kick there arse because outdoors its about the limit on a 250 its a young mans class, not pure experience will get you through a season, its youth and maturity and smarts! But WSZX and ME SX in US, 250 class is full of 30s late 20s even over 30s has beens, its a joke and a cheat.

@@maverick2242oh I don’t think so , most of the old 30plus guys aren’t winning in the 250 class any way the only 2 guys are like Hampshire and Jordan smith but they really aren’t that old , if you think 26 yrs old is to old , most 250 guys are pretty young it’s just they started at 15 and 16 so it seems like there very old , Ken rocsen isn’t even 30 yet , but it seems like he’s 40 yrs old he’s been racing so long , so no I don’t think anyone’s cheating to get a fake title and also you must not be from the USA , right but yes it should be a stepping stone for 450s like in Europe

Har UP not Har Op, geez you guys make a meal of it! Harrup is not on the Coenons level or Wolfs imo and he's much older 23 going on 24 I think! We need to bring through and develop US talent, that have graduated Loretta's and other amateur's top level events. Its all good bringing young super talented overseas's riders from where ever in the world not anti that at all, or current world champs. But so so journey men taking seats from the next gen is imo not good! Bad enough we have that already in the East coast and West coast SX series It will continue to weaken US talent of depth and width even more than it is now! Apart from Deagan who else really is on that level, no one! 450s Chase is moving into his second half of his career, getting spanked by Jett, no bike is gonna fix that, sorry for Chase but until he mentally gets it together, he search and blame bikes all he wants, Jett is going to rack up titles and Chase wont get younger! Tomac and many others will retire soon, and the current 250 class really is full of late 20s and 30 somethings and the young talent in that class has been there sometime and make the same dumb mistakes over and over and imo wont get there on Deagans level as a bench mark. Possibly Levi Kitchen but he's going on 23, 24, don't want to see him stuck in the 250s for too much longer or he will end up being another US journey man going nowhere! We need to focus on US talent develop width and depth and maturity at a young age! What to me is impressive about Jett and Deagan is the ability to learn to take knowledge from the mentors around them and actually apply it to race conditions not practice track training, its not there raw speed that wins titles, its the little things they do that's missed that adds to the raw speed ability, on and off the track! Yes I want to see Wolf, Lucas and Sasha here, possibly Levit Townley in a few years he's too young right now, EMX 125 class is the best thing Ben is doing for his boy right now, mark my words others could learn from Ben he also has that anate ability to transfer his knowledge without ego getting in the ay and fast tracking his boy to the top and ruining him! But as for more, right now I don't see anyone else in GPs capable of valuable for factory level contracts for SX and MX, maybe in the EMX series there are some other standouts like in the EMX 250 class and 125 class of 24, but are they do they want to come ! What effect and message does that send to families in amateur's risking life savings borrowing against homes working there guts out at work on bikes and driving there kids all over the country and being contracted up until Loretta's Lynns then being dumped because old guys are stacking the 250 SX class, because teams cant win a title, so they buy one effectively then you want to bring in riders that may bot even be top tier level in GPs, wow! I'm all for competition that's racing, that's pro level, but it son you if you don't continue to develop your own, not protect them, dont need import barriers let the best come, regardless, but STOP dumping your own talent after LLs for all you have milked them for. Stop allowing 450 riders to drop down or stay longer than they should, SX is about the best, race the best, 250 is a development class, hence 2 coasts dont BS us into thinking it wasn't setup that way, its cheating and its been allowed to be manipulated for sometime. All I gotta say about that, peas and carrots! Happy trails. Race hard race clean, bang bars and shoot for the stars, dont be dic! ps Dont let MX and SX to into the freak show boxing is and has been for decades!
