I remember I would listen to your music as I walked home from school and pick up groceries for my mom from H-mart. I was listening to "feelings are fatal" as I walked on bits of snow on the ground. Somehow, you did such a unique job of bringing me right back to those early teenage years. And now, I'm 18-- and it feels as if you added another layer of complexity to a song I loved that seems to mesh with feeling older and wiser. As if you applied all of the stories you've accrued over the past years and put them back into this song that still means just as much. It was 2018 then.
