As an American rooting for America in the MXoN, it's great to see smaller countries putting in a great fight for the title. Congrats to Belgium!

race 2 was good, the battles between tomac and roczen are unreal. Definitely like the sportsmanship between these two all year including today.

American motocross is beautiful, very competitive and intense. Exciting to watch, skilled riders. Tomac showed amazing speed and stamina hunting down Roczen. Yes, you should be proud. However, Americans should pay respect to the competition. Belgium is smaller country than the state of South Carolina. They only have couple of MX tracks there. Still their riders manged to challenge the pack and rise from behind to victory regardless of terrible starts and dislocated shoulder of their best rider.

i so badly wanted to see RV and TC go at it. they are the worlds best for sure. lets hope they both stay injury free these upcoming seasons and next year we get to find out once and for all who is quicker. cant wait. oh yeah... mx des nation is all about bringing nations together.... so for all the guys out there running your mouths, i think you are missing the point. keep it on two wheels fellas

Congrats to Team Belgium - they had terrible starts and bad luck with quickest team rider Desalle going out and they still won fair and square. Tomac looked awesome and Team USA very solid. Cairoli was on another planet, he wasn't even pushed! With Villopoto team USA might have won, but Cairoli would have still have won the Individual Title!

One of the draws to MX or SX was always that respect between riders it doesn't matter if your a factory rider or someone who rides around your yard. Now I'm not saying it was all love and rainbows there always been the good natured ribbing that is part of the fun. But, anymore there seems to be some serious lack of respect even hate and to me it's disappointing. People who get on a bike and fall in love with the sport are a rare breed to begin with not just anyone can do this, if your a rider you know what I mean. Let's not let our sport go the way of so many sports before it.

wow, barely any race/parcticetracks left in Belgium if Smets is to be believed, but we still somehow managed to win. Wonder how long it will be before we ever win again.

Oh yea, forgot about that, but Cairoli didn't kill Villo. If I remember right, Sabastian Pourcel T-boned Villo (or was that 08, or...?), but Villo got 2nd. I have that race, I'll go watch it now. BUT- do you get all of the MXoN's on DVD? Have you seen the 2012 MXoN (put up by a Heckler's Koch), is that what is on the 2012 DVD if we buy it? And what about the rest since 06? That FIM started cutting them down to like a half hour from 07 on. Do you know? Let me know if you can, cool?

Ahhh so much arguing, I respect all the nations and there have been some very fast dudes from multiple countries. America was late to the party and didn't even have a team or motocross until Brad Lackey and the boys in the 70's. But despite that they have won more MX of Nations than any other country by a large margin, and despite having to compete on foreign tracks that the Euro riders are already familiar with and race on every year. There is a reason America always has a target on their back

Yes but Belgium riders came from 35th & 20th starts in motos & Desalle also came from outside top 20 to get 3rd in moto that Tomac crashed in, he was fast enough to have beaten Roczen and Tomac but too far back. Then Desalle went down on start of last moto & DNF. Desalle was fast enough to get top 3 so even if Tomac & Desalle didn't crash Belgium probably would have still won. Tomac proved he is an awesome rider who can ride any track, love to see him go over & win the World Championship 1 day.

At Lommel he had the excuse of the track, they never rode something like that, Teutschenthal gives him no excuse in my opinion. I really like Dungey as he rides in the AMA but he doesn't seem to be the guy for the MXON.

Saying Cairoli is the fastest rider in the world is like saying he is faster than RV.... I'm a big fan of both the AMA and the GP's, and can't say i agree. It's a shame that RV didn't get to race this MXDN. Onya Aussies!..

Belgium may have won but to say they are best motcross nation is a strech, If Tomac dosen't crash and Barcia dosen't go down in the first corner usa wins easly. AMA riders are the fastest in the world.

Erlend_Motocross He rides the two AMA series exclusively now. He couldn't go to MXON for 2014 because he was trying to get his work VISA in the USA extended and you cannot leave the USA while that's in process. I think he also needed a break after his first full 450 season and to get used to his new bike.

You do have great riders, but... Tomac would have been better if he didn't blew starts that much as he did last year. This time he wasn't fast enough to beat Roczen race 2. Barcia did ok the first race but was definitely not the fastest rider on track, race 3 was bad luck but was the same for Clement de Salle. Dungey, sorry, he didn't perform as expected, not at all. So Tomac and Barcia had some bad luck but rode well, Dungey didn't. Great riders but sometimes someone else wins, that's racing!

rv is a quality rider but tc would give a run for it. its hard to say rv is never pushed in the states so may he could go even faster but cairoli can go beyond most other riders limits. last year he won because it was sand this year no rv and usa did not no the track. dungey got his arse kicked he was your no.1

if,if,if... You americans can't stand the fact that YOU LOST AGAIN.That's MX in Europe now,fast and competitive.If Villopoto was racing maybe you would won , but come on learn to lose ,thats the way to get better.Respect the rest of the world racers.I am watcing MX for 2O years and you are not fair to the rest of the world riders.And the MXGPs are open for your riders to train and get better every year in sandy tracks(i would never forget the blue flag that Bagget faced at Lommel last year).

@thomaswilliams1963
@thomaswilliams1963 11 жыл бұрын
Nonsense.... US comes half way across the world...1 day testing...unfamiliar track....they basically choke..and still almost win. TC would get beaten by RV if RV had any level of track familiarity similar to what TC had. If you honestly think TC is faster than RV....you do not know much about riding. RV has some very special technical skills that no other rider has...including TC. TC is great...but he could not hang with RV a larger sample size of races...

Lommel was so last year get over your self chump yea you guys are good at riding sand but are all MX tracks sand? I think not, so stop claiming American riders suck and got lapped just because we got 3rd over all in Lommel and 2nd overall in Teutschenthal, until then come back when some one beats the 22 wins we have in MXON.
