My first time was in Houston at a place called "Numbers" for Mxpx. The Hippos opened the show. I think it was 1998 or 1999. I was 16 or 17. Can't remember the year, but will never forget the time!

They still together. This is not MxPx, I'm not sure if it's the MxPx All Stars or whatever... but trust me, the reason they sound different isn't the 4 piece thing. It's Mikes Voice, and the fact that he's singing it different and I think possibly in a Lower Key. I've seen them do it before. They are all older and have families, so seeing the actual Band is harder than ever before. Many Bands are doing it. Either way, he's singing it like crap here. And no Drummer is like Yuri!

I saw them live the first few times they went on multi-state tours. They played in churches each time. Read all of the lyrics from their first album, Pokinatcha Punx. After that you'll know for sure they began as a Christian band. Though now I believe Mike Herrera claims to be an atheist.
