I've been done with pedals for a while, but this one is the one that changed my mind. I've got to get it.
@22ddo2 жыл бұрын
Now that I've been living with it I can't get over it. I am selling a ton of gear, an 8 string bass, a fuzz pedal, three octave pedals. Also this pedal plays incredibly well going into my [secret pedal], a trick I haven't seen anyone do yet. Pleasant surprise. The diversity of tones is off the charts, guitar, bass, you name it. Plus you get the mono option, Blue Box and Phase 90 for $199, it's a steal. No joke I might get a second so I have one on my guitar board and my bass board.

What would be the differences in tracking and tone between this and the mxr bass octave deluxe? (Aside from the obvious that this one has multiple octaves, fuzz and modulation).

I really don't like these paid demos in which the player doesn't actually offer their opinion on the product. We got some very specific (and often strange) scenarios demoed, but I want to know the answer to the most important question: would you actually put this on your board? How does it compare to similar products that you might have on your board already?
@deadbeatstudios2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback Ezra. As a professional performer I choose to reserve answering these kinds of questions only for my patrons on Patreon; my industry has been ravaged over the years and aside from touring, Patreon is one of the only ways that I survive. And given that my opinion is something of value to you, it's the only commodity that I have left that you can't get anywhere else. I hope all is well!

@Kurt Çobaini Respect to Jayme for just being totally honest here. Musicians have been working for next to nothing way to long, Im glad that options like Patreon has come along and helped it being possible to make a living.

@Kurt Çobaini I already have 100+ free videos on KZbin with hundreds of hours of free, helpful advice Kurt, so you will find that my generosity far exceeds the money that you say I am begging for. While I do understand and respect your opinion, I stand by what I said to let other artists know that they don't need to reduce their value to absolutely nothing in order to thrive in today's world. And I also understand that I will lose some people like yourself along the way. Such is the plight of the professional musician. Stay well!

Best test on sub octive and tracking is to play in lower register. You kept your example by playing in upper register. Any pedal will do a better job in upper register. And hand placement is critical to making octive pedals do better. Nothing said about that either. Did you get paid for this infomercial?

Horrible tracking for this pedal. I owned it after a whammy V. The tracking is just really bad, and worst in mono than in polyphonic. Sent it back, ordered a micro POG and now everything is good!
@erstwhilerambler Жыл бұрын
In my experience, having used for about a year now, the tracking is perfectly fine. You need to play cleanly, especially when in the mono mode, but the pedal itself tracks well.
