Thanks for this, I play viola and it's so hard to gauge tracking from watching guitar reviews of octave pedals.

As a guitar player, I'm selling my Pitchfork and receiving my MXR PBO early next week.

I'm thinking of doing the same. What's your reasoning?

I've used both, and though I was initially excited about the PB, (- and the PF does have some clock sounds and questionable bypass)- I still think the PF sounds better.Less artificial and stilted, and because I'm not really using organ type sounds or the Fuzz( I have several that are much better), I'll just put in back in the bypass loop I had it in for years.( I tried the PF + version, but prefer the original there as well) TBH, over several decades and a lot of pedals, MXR never make the cut,- but I was hopeful this time.

PF sounds like shit, it draws only 35 mA, it's very simple light algorythms with poor tracking, neither pog.

@@andytrendy4841The specs, very simply, don't always add up to the sound you're looking for .I have a synth, and if I don't want to sound like a guitar, I use that.

@@markferguson3745 specs matter, don't find musical plastic sound and delay. if you want low fi, go towards analog pedals
