MXR YJM308 vs Past Pedals

Do you have a preference for these pedals?

@@bw537 My preference is the latest MXR YJM308. But each pedal has its merits. In my opinion, FENDER and MXR are quite similar. DOD is a little weaker in power, but it's attractive because it's close to the Old Yngwie Sound.

@@Ryuta666 The MXR is my favorite. I like the Fender because it's more raw for rhythm and the DOD because it's more classic Malmsteen. We're basically in complete agreement.

@@bw537 A prototype of MXR was used at Yngwie's Japan tour in May 2024. The sound of the prototype was very cool and I was very excited. Now that the prototype has been improved and officially released, it's a great pedal.

@@Ryuta666 I saw him a few years ago and he's coming back to Tulsa on November 1. It was such a great concert. The man knows how to put on a show. Enjoy those pedals.

@@bw537 It was a live performance at the Tulsa Theater. I would love to experience Yngwie's performance in America someday. I think Tulsa is a city with great museums and a zoo. Please enjoy Yngwie's performance to the fullest. Play Loud.

Ryutaさん、MXR YJM308、使いこなされてますね！Marshallアンプとの相性もバッチリのようですね。エフェクターの新旧の組み合わせの解説動画、とても分かり易かったです😉 僕は動画撮る時はいつもMarshallのDSL5をクリーンチャンネルにしてエフェクターはBOSSのコンプレッサー→BOSSのスーパーオーバードライブ→ガバナー→グラフィックイコライザー→BOSSのデジタルディレイの順に繋いでいます。ノイズサプレッサーは使用していません。リバーブはMarshallアンプ内蔵のものだけ使用しています。このセッティングだと割とヴィニー・ムーアの音に近くなります。歪みはあまり強くないけどサスティーンを効かせながら１音１音がハッキリして、なおかつノイズが少ないようなアノ音は、僕のお気に入りです😉もちろんRyutaさんのネオクラシカルメタルロックなサウンドも大好きです🥰

@@遠藤欽ちゃん 遠藤さん、コメントありがとう御座います。 この動画ではエフェクターのサウンドがより伝わるように、Marshallのセッティングをいつもの好みではなく、フラットな設定で演奏しました。 実際のリハーサルやLiveでは、この動画の音とは違う、いつものYngwie Respect Soundになると思います。 自宅だと色々機材があるけど、それを持ち運ぶのがダルくて、外で弾く時は大体ODとNSのみってパターンが多いんですよね。 いずれにせよ、ギターだけでなく、アンプやエフェクターなど色々な組み合わせで行うサウンドメイク、個人的には面倒クサくていつもテキトーなんですが、奥深いものがあり、まだまだ修行が必要です。はは。
