my klx150bf goes everywhere a ktm,wr or yz goes,its the rider that makes a difference ive had mine now for over a year,i take it everywhere,Beerwah tracks in qld and camping as well,even did the connondale crossings,the bike will go where you want to take it.they are a good bike,im upgrading to the klx250s soon,thats how much i like the klx's.

Wished that Kawasaki went with EFI on this one. Insta buy if that's the case.

There is at least one kit available for EFI conversion. You can even get big bore ceramic cylinder conversion for it. But I'd rather go the 250cc route.

The first „big“ bike (non-scooter, manual shifting) I learned on on a beginner offroad course in Pattaya😎 It is THE perfect learner offroad bike and is very reliable and forgiving. I fell down a few times and it nothing happened😉 It‘s very lightweight. Nice

i just ordered the d tracker 150, similar version to the klx 150... but my dealer is only providing 6 months warranty or for the first 6000km whichever comes first... 24 months unlimited miledge warranty is awesome... i'am puzzled why the warranty system is not standard across the globe??

Nice review mate. I got one of these... Basically ripped off everything and upgraded almost every component as well as boring out the engine naking it a 214cc ... It really does rip now and does all the extreme stuff

How much does it weigh? It looks VERY softly sprung. How much do you weigh with the gear you were riding with? Does it run on regular gas or require higher octane? A 35 watt headlight is usually pretty WIMPY.

ToyotaKTM 118 Kg. I weight about 85kg and it performs soo good. It does run on regular gas i fuel it with 93 the lower octane we got here on Chile. The light its kinda wimp haha but its acceptable.

what do you guys think about the bike going for long distance trips?

Its very comfortable actually in stock engine for long trips (highways long and straight a bit boring) but any twisties is good. I bought mine and immediately did a 600km trip over a few days. Great bike. Ive modified mine alot now though engine / sprockets etc so its less good for long distance cruising, but it still does it now and then

I bought the same bike (a KLX150BF, not KLX150) same color in February. Then in August two more colors were made available in Thailand - Green/Black and Red/Black, both with "Xtreme" stickers. Kawasaki Thailand named it "KLX150BF (New)", both with golden front forks. They're so beautiful so I bought another one - the Green/Black color on 4th August. I'm so happy with them!

Kawasaki u got a 150 now make 300cc like the old klx300 IT WAS A TRUE DIRT BIKE. Not some glorified dual sport learner bike it's about time you guys made something worth riding in the dirt with some fire and shocks other than a kx 250-450 motocross bike

I agree with you 100% !! 250cc is not enough, and 450 just a bit too much. 300-400cc is ideal ! And fuel injection and 6 speed gear ⚙️ box , keep the seat height low ( 34”) and keep the weight to no more than 250lbs ( hey if KTM and Husqvarna and Beta can make lightweight bikes , then anyone can do it ) But nobody wants to listen.

the bike is super slow unless you made some modifications like changing the stock 18-21 wheels to 17-17 tires, using the kx85 carburetor, and changing the sprocket (mine is 14-48)

@@mellord83 I have been using this for 3 weeks, so far it is good, the torque is amazing it can pick ups to 80 km/h in 3 to 4 seconds, am using it On Road more than Off Road , can go up to 120 km/h but the engine is not build for top speed so 100km/h is usually where it gets.. the big front wheel really helps for off road rides, quite balance and the bike is not that heavy.. really suitable for a small asian size like me.. the seat is quite uncomfortable at first but I'll get used to it tho..

@BarryJPR fuel economy is not a problem, it got 7 litres fuel tank, I use my bike everyday for work , so I refuels like every 50 miles or 80 km approximately..
