Maaaan! That’s the secret weapon that he didn’t want to show. At least that’s what I’m thinking because we all know Elevations snare is a lot fatter than what we just heard in this clip. It’s in his signal chain so I’m sure he does use it

@@Exocal15 I've watched their drum tuning video a while ago and their drummer states they like to tune the snare higher. That always struck me funny because they have that deep sound. It makes more sense now.

@@weeschwee yes sir! I tighten my church’s snare drum pretty tight too and then use torque to detune it. Sounds great!

I've seen drummer have two snares and use one with a big fat snare as an fx snare and the other as their main.

@@andyxprophet I think it depends on which one you use cause while I agree the original one overdoes it, their The Shining model has been perfect cause it’s a bit thinner and not so intense

What he meant to say... Flip the polarity of the signal to avoid a shift in time which creates phase.

“Flip the phase” means the same thing. No need for correction. It’s called a phase switch on some consoles.
