I will give you my 2 years of experience, so i hope this comments helps you improve so, here is what I have learned. There is 3 things you need for Osu!Mania most important things. 1. Note reading, Note reading is not being able to hit the the notes but be able to see them. For example you might be 3 stars being capable to read 5 stars but you can't hit them. (*Ways to fix is, learn to use your eyes, the ability to zoom out and zoom in.*) I most get asked, where do I look when playing Osu!mania, it's not about where you look, you can have your own preference mine is usually way above the combo count but, it's about your eyes. You don't have to be focused to do this, you just gotta learn to focus/zoom in your eyes on the certain part of the screen. Once you get better, note reading becomes easier and due to pattern recognition your eyes will be able to easily do difficult levels you couldn't do before. 2. pattern Recognition, In order to evolve your pattern, you need find many different maps. Over and over again but, you might be asking, won't I get bad muscle memory, well, heres the thing, you going to peak maps you can 98% - 100%. You should pick maps that have many different patterns, Many long notes, streams, jacks, stairs, All of them in one map. Just make sure you have all kinds patterns. WARNING ( YOU WILL NOT GET BETTER DOING THIS, THIS JUST TO HELP IMPLEMENT THE BASIC AND LET YOUR EYES FOCUS FASTER ON THE INCOMING NOTES). 3. CALM YOUR HEART, this is important because in any game you play having a good mindset, good breathing technique, having fun and relaxing before and during playing is VERY IMPORTANT. It's just like a muscle, if you're working out and you continue to workout, the progress will be slowed down and even plateau due to the lack of breaks. Calming yourself by breathing correctly and switching from a perfect posture to more relax posture (repeatedly) to maximize comfortability is important in any game. --Yoru 2024

That is not true. Most ppl are worse than him just because they played less hours in the same span of time or had less experience in other rythm games. Most top players plays a lot more than the normal players. Stop saying genetics is is the most important thing always instead of trying your best in the game. Genetics can help you but muscle memory and the way you play can beat that genetic advantage.

When I started playing in April 2021 I got to 4 digits and 10th and PreAlpha in 4/5 months, then couldn't play because of a hand injury because of futsal and I never managed to get my whole skill again, not because of the injury but because of the time I was without playing, now I play sometimes but I dont think I could clear even 10th dan rn, glad that people like you actually managed to get way better during a whole year, wondering what would have been if I could have played too for a year straight gg jkzu u a legend

Im not a type of guy who loves rhythm games, its been 10 days since I first started osu mania! I hit 1000pp yesterday by fc'ing multiple 3 stars map, and an A in 1 4* map camellia ghost, im not used to pattern of long notes and etc, the pattern that suits me as a beginner is jumpstreams, chord Jacks and single stream.
