I'm in the income fund so no issues here, I just get dividends every quarter and the portfolio is steady which is just fine. On pace for an 8% annual return so far.

Thanks for the video! I've been down about 7 percent for the last year on fundrise, but I know it's just because of global economic turmoil. I knew there would be years like these when I started investing, so I haven't lost any hope. Here's to more returns in the future!

Thanks Camila, I wondered about the dip, but hadn't had time to read the letters. On my account I only saw a Q4 1.1% loss. That may be because of the number of properties I'm diversified over (250+). However, I'm also curious to know what you think and how the choice of investment plan may factor into how the differences in losses people may be noticing on their accounts.

I'm up over 10% , now I'm nervous it'll go down. I'm very cautious about Fundrise as a lot of this isn't too tangible. Hoping this risk pays off in the long run.

The economy is gonna crash extremely hard. I was hoping private REITs would be considerably more protected against FED rates than public but I guess not from what you seem to be reporting. I'd stay away from any public traded investment, to be honest, and focus on investments in tangible assets or share ownerships of tangible assets versus companies unless it's a company highly backed by physical assets such as a commercial real estate company with a large amount of proprieties. All in all, we're paying FundRise to have a boatload of proprieties under their name for when crap hits the fan. They'll be just fine at the end of the day. The investors though...

Since June ’21, I’ve invested almost $13k, and have gotten a $7.97% return. While I haven’t lost money, I stopped investing back in Dec ’22. I’m trying to use my savings to grow my freelance business which could provided better returns in the short term.

Hi young lady - I show 74 active projects with $1,460.07 invested to date. I started the account last April so it is not a year old. I am down 14.2%. Since October last year I add $50 every two weeks when I get paid. I will continue with no changes for now. Interesting that I did not earn $10 in dividends in 2022 and will not get a 1099 form. Did you/Will you?

What tax documents do you get from Fundrise? Do you get them in time to file before April?

It's a 1099-Div. It was available in late Jan so you can log into today to get it. When you log in and scroll down just a bit, they reference your 1099 tax package.
