I really appreciate your unpressurized approach to the project. Very helpful for me to see as a model for the 100 days. For the hexagons did you hand cut the shapes or use a Cricut or Silhouette type machine?

I've started my first 100 Day Project. It is scary so I have been procrastinating to be honest! But now I am gaining courage and have started doing a project a day. I'm with my daughter so away from most of my art supplies, therefore each little card needs further embellishment. I made up my own rules, first I prepared 100 4x6 cards, then on the first day I painted abstract shapes on 10 of them, added splatters and splits of gold. The next day I gathered paper scraps, sari ribbon scraps etc into a bag. Then I sat, paralysed for a few days. Had a flash of inspiration and bought a bunch of embroidery floss, found my thin awl. And sat for another day. I have now made 4 cards, they have a water colour background, small pieces of scrap paper, old book paper etc, a focal point image, a smaller secondary image(s), and some hand sewing. None of it is terribly good as I am not very accomplished to start with! My approach fits my needs and my way of doing things. I am numbering the cards so I can see my (potential) progression. I think having prepared the 100 cards ahead of time (cut them to size, rounded the corners) will help me keep on track. You have made it more real because you asked me to write it down, and I did! Looking forward to seeing your 100 days.🌺
