I started playing on a practice pad 3 years ago, and used the floor as a kick drum since I didn’t have anything else. I then decided to get a kick pedal and use it on my suitcase and it felt quite effective. Three years later, I’m still playing on a home made set up of a suitcase, cardboard boxes and some practice cymbals. It helps me improve while keeping my neighbors happy.

That's awesome praise God ☝️, my son is a 24 yr old worship guitarist. My son took violin in the 5th grade all the way through high school but around 7th grade he wanted to start playing my guitar and that was the beginning 😀. He would come home from school and practice for hours, around 8th grade he started playing acoustic guitar for the youth and soon jumped to electric and has been playing ever since. As a father it's such q blessing to see him worshipping God on stage through his talent and then an extra bonus for me is he is my guitarist for our little family punk band where I play either bass, guitar, or drums and then sometimes my younger brother comes over and we have a full band jam. GOD IS SO GOOD ☝️☝️

Everytime I lead worship I have to do exactly what you do it’s not about being a good singer, drummer, musician. It’s about surrender in that moment. It’s about knowing that I am loved by Jesus the king of kings. Doesn’t matter if it’s in front of thousands of people or by yourself in your room.
