That outdoor space is amazing. I’ve seen lots of Japanese apartments and you’ve got a Goldmine there. Pop a couple steps up and decorate

Nice! Welcome to Tokyo :) My company helped with the relocation - they gave me contact to a english speaking housing agent. After which, tell them your requirements / look online, they will give you a few listings to choose from and pick you up, drive you to the place to check it out!

Do you like the neighborhood? We’re apartment hunting in Tokyo and were wondering about the surrounding Shinjuku neighborhood. Would love to know what you think! And any more units available in that building? :)

You should buy a sink cover/food prep board to increase your kitchen space some more.

I love how Asian apartments look as though they’re mostly suited for living, whereas in the US everyone makes all parts their homes presentable for entertaining. For example the balcony - I never go on the balcony! I don’t use it, I don’t want the sun damage and I can see pretty views from inside as I have large windows in my bedroom. Laundry area is a PERFECT way to efficiently utilize the balcony, but here it’s supposed to be the “patio” with a bunch of fairy lights, a barbecue and wicker furniture 🙄 Why does everything have to be situated for having company?? I’m the one that has to live here!! 🤬

Lol no ones holding a gun to your head telling you to do these things..
@Angelstar77742 жыл бұрын
@@meowkitty69 No one is saying that I can’t do it or that I don’t have free will, typical that your first inclination is to criticize me 🙄 I’m talking about the inevitable social pressure of people coming in and being like “what’s that!!??” when they look at my balcony if it’s a laundry area and not a patio. I’m basically making a statement to Americans to get over it, that there is a more logical way to arrange one’s home as proven in asian countries.

you can go out in the balcony very early in the morning, sun damage is less and to get a good dose of vitamin D. or after sunset till night.

I think you mean grill, not barbecue.
@Angelstar77742 жыл бұрын
@@willp.8120 you are thinking of barbecue as a verb, I used it as a *noun*: “barbecue. noun. Definition of barbecue (Entry 2 of 2) 1 : an often portable grill. 2 : an outdoor meal or party at which food is cooked over hot coals or an open fire.”
