My 1993 Ford Escort GT

i have 2 egt's one is a 91 automatic with a electric sunroof and the other is a 94 5 spd i am in the process of swapping the trans over to the 91 because the engine in the 94 has a blown head gasket plus i want to drive my 91 because of the sunroof. i blew my automatic trans over 2 yrs ago and i just now found this 94 to use for donor parts. the 91 set up for two years periodically being cranked up though before today it hasnt been cranked in a year or very close to a year. when i put a hot battery she fired up just fine. love these cars.

Hold on to it. My '95 GT has 244,000 miles and going strong. It's by far the most reliable little engine ever. The only thing I ever had to replace was the lifters and that was only because some idiot mechanic slammed the pedal to the floor when working on it one day.Good luck with it.

I myself have looked for a set for my car and the only place you'll find them is either from a Ford dealership that will charge an arm and a leg or from a junk yard where you'll probably only find a poorly kept set. You should check ebay periodically.

I love your escort.. mines beat up from hell. it was passed down to me from my father. mine is also a 1993 ford escort gt and I have 2 12" subs in the back. i'm about to mod a lot of stuff under the hood and then fix the outside body and lower it about 2.5"-3".. Please could you leave me a link somewhere that I can buy bumpers that will fit the '93 ford escort gt.

95gtscort i found new fog light for my Escort GT they came brand new from the dealership from a 1995-1998 ford explore limited edition and the use the same light bulb and frame and its basically a Escort GT for light feel free to buy some new fog lights for your Escort GT :) reply and let me know
