960 is not the same as 940. Suspension, wheels, motor, gearbox, electronics all quite different. I have a 1998 V90 (= renamed 960). Beautiful car. 205 bhp. Worst job was replacing the heater matrix and rinsing and drying the carpets - took a week of hard work.

Nice to see a new car video from you! I had a 95 Volvo 960 Sedan and it was minty! Even the door panels were perfect. Reminded me of a Chevy Caprice!

Вольво хорошая машина. Это замечательно что вы заботитесь о нем. У меня вольво 960 дорестайлинг 1993 год.

The 960 has a Porsche-designed I-6 that is smooth as butter. But the 240/740/940 engine was the Red Block 4 cyl B230F that runs forever. A non-turbo 940 is slow as daybreak, but a 960 is a fun car to drive.

Do you know if your 1998 Volvo S90 960 940 have two fuel pumps? I have the 1990 Volvo 760GLE with the Puegeot V6 engine which has one pump under the car and another inside the gas tank. The one in the tank is very hard to replace. I took it to one mechanic and he did not succeed in correctly replacing it. If I can find a 960, I may decide to get it, but I would hope that by then Volvo would have done things much simpler like having just one fuel pump preferably under the car.

1998 and newer are single pump, 1997 and older 960 are dual pump

Our 95 960 gets 19MPG, a little better than your truck. How did the timing belt and other work go? Did you say how many miles this 98 has?

What a great deal. These things will last for a really really long time. I think people get sick of them rather than the car going bad on them.
