I was born and raised on a farm in Eastern Iowa. I couldn't wait to get to a big city, just to get away. Although I did have a horse, which I loved! I am much older and wiser, and have lived in the big city (Chicago) for almost 20 years. I'll tell you, I REALLY miss Iowa and the farm now! We Iowans are much more friendly than here! Your talking about being strong made me think of my daughter. When she was in high school we let her get some horses. She was crazy about them and we figured it would keep her busy and out of trouble. We got a load of hay stacked in the barn and once she had used up all the bales that were low she asked me to help her get some more down from the pile. These bales weighed about 120 pounds apiece. I told her I would show her how to move them herself. Moving hay bales has a lot more to do with technique than strength. She was a fast learner and got pretty good at it. Whenever teenage boys would come over she would ask them to help her get down a bale. The poor boys could never do it so that would give her a chance to show off a little. Maybe it was a little mean of her but it was all in good fun. Thanks for reminding me. You and Cole seem well matched and were both lucky to have found each other. Best wishes and good luck.

They are very nice people, but I don't have to tell you that. Don't worry about what your ministry will be, just get as close to God as you can and He will reveal it. The most important thing is the being part. The doing part of any significance will always be the result of our transformation into the likeness of Christ. Matt.5 is all about the beatitudes. When we become what God wants us to be, then we can do great things for Him (things we are not able to do our self). It will be His power working through us so that He gets all the glory. After almost 20 years he got laid off (best thing that ever happened to us--thank you God!) Now he's lost a ton of weight, threw out all his ties, and wears Carhart's for pretty much everything but sleeping! He looks so great in his Carhart's! I love it!

It IS beautiful. I’m a farm girl, though I don’t live on a farm anymore. It gets in your blood and it never leaves. Thank goodness I live on the edge of an island now because looking at open spaces keeps me sane and lowers my blood pressure. Nave, I think you are a lovely young woman. I too took a ministry route. I was head Pastor of a 100+ flock with the United Church of Christ. It was very filling work. This was back in the late 1980s to 2000. I had a joint mission in the inter-city delivering food sacks and taking folks to their Dr. appts for people with HIV/AIDS. It was a crisis in Memphis, Tn at the time and no pastors would minister God's word to these people. I prayed on it and the Lord lead me in that direction. It was a hard ministry because most of my folks would die and then I would have a funeral. It was hard work. But, I am a firm believer that hard work plus having God as your rudder leads to a happy life. Also, having God lead my 38-year marriage helped in my work. I was 100% supported and it makes a difference. Whether or not you and Colethecornstar get married will only unfold with time. Always be honest first to yourself, love who you are and get comfortable in your own skin. Honesty and having the ability to make yourself vulnerable other so they see your heart first things makes for a happy life. You will never have trust without truth. Godspeed on journey. I enjoy your music and heck everyone knows that Carharrt is the new Gucci. ☮️❤️

Kriste Elrod, it is inspiring to hear your story and wise words. I'm sure you made a difference to many people, some with HIV/AIDS would have had nobody left who would have gone near them. People were too afraid to be near them since it was so misunderstood in those days. Sad! I am so happy to see young people with enthusiasm to jump into life and make a difference. Nave, Cole and a few young adults in my life give me hope. Some others make make me shake my head and wonder. I think it's important to encourage all to be their best, some take a little bit more than others.

Cole and his friends sound like they know what they want to do with their lives and are working toward those goals. When Cole first witnessed after digging one of the graves, my heart melted. He has God first. I do believe that the Lord Jesus is the best rudder to steer my ship. HIV/AIDS was not my only ministry. I also did/do a lot with veterans. From WWII to the present. ☮️❤️

Don't hesitate to call yourself a Farmer, there is plenty of video proof on Cole's Channel of your farming work. Good to see you have gotten some warm work wear. It is very important to be comfortable while working, especially when you are getting, cold, hungry, bored, tired, and the job just never seems to end. I have always felt that if my feet were warm and dry, I could bear any other discomfort. With all the kids of multi-generational Family farms, moving away to pursue "big city" dreams nowadays, it is really nice to see a "city girl" excited about farming!! It is good to move ahead with day to day activities oriented around farm life, especially if You and Cole get married, because that will always be your base, or foundation. Your Ministry will come as the Lord opens the doors and makes the way clear! Ministry can easily be done from the farm while doing the work that needs to be done. If God is calling you and Cole to be married, then God's plan will also include you helping and supporting your Husband in his family farm. Whatever you do or say, do all for the Glory of God! Hello Farm Girl. Pleased to make your acquaintance. After watching your oil change video I feel the need to advise you to guard your hair from all of the farm machinery. Especially guard it from the wheels on your creeper. It won't happen but once.

@@DiamondMaker69 Absolutely, Nave! May I suggest what I did with my hair? Pony tail on top of head, then wrap around into a bun, secure with barretts that clip shut. Bobby pins and hair pins can wiggle loose and fall into stuff you're working on. My farmer's mom always wore her hair ike this too! Take care and God Bless!

Can you imagine that you never fight Cole? Imagine, every fight has a looser. For the looser the love will go a little down. Now you live on cloud #9. How would it be to live there after many years. Disagree with him is fine. Sit down and talk about it when you have a moment of rest. Someone only gets emotional when the other is valuable for him. So, when the other gets emotional it means a declaration of love. Blessings to you both. Same advice for Cole as for you. The other will attempt to solve things different. That might be not the best solution in your eyes, but never will be something that is on purpose against you.

@@NavexCole Take this principle. Your task is to make other people happy and there is nobody who has the obligation to make you happy. This is so because you never can force others to do good to you. If Cole is not happy, how can he give what he doesn't have? If you want more tips, then I would prefer a less public location. I now live 10 years with my wife together. We never had a fight. She is still on cloud #9.
