Both are very nice indeed. The paintwork on the Aston Martin looks great in the sun. Very metallic. I highly recommend getting the Jag if you can find one.

Hi KC. I knew the Jag would be popular so I scored 3 of them!!. If you want one let me know and i will post to you. We only get Matchbox at same stores as you. I found an unopened box so got to grab what I needed.

Very nice find to start the year. My local stores are still behind their release of the 2023 mainline cases, but I have scored some of the 2024 Moving Parts outside of my area. Thank you for sharing them Chris. I had to do rewind on the Proton Saga. It is interesting, but I do not know much about it.

Thanks MD. Our stores are hit and miss when it comes to the latest cases. That Proton is from Thailand I think. A nice casting.

Hi Kibbo. I didn't know that the Proton was from Malaysia. A cool casting. That Aston of course is a stunner, very happy to get that one. Looks like 2024 will be a good year!! - hopefully.

I saw that blue Jag a few weeks ago at Woolies; chucked it in my trolley, but ended up putting it back on the rack. The Proton was made in Malaysia orinally, but I think another country makes them now. I once hired a Proton to drive around Langkawi island; good thing they are right hand drive in Malaysia ! That Buick is definately the pick of the County Rescue set, followed by the GMC, and Ram. Still haven't found one yet; but I haven't been on a hunt for weeks. I actually had a market stall yesterday, and sold some of my least liked models. I thought the 2 Corvettes were the stars of this video. Cheers. 👨‍🚒👍🍻

Hey Jim. You should have kept the Jag, it is a really nice casting. I got 3 of them thinking they will be popular. I was really lucky getting the Buick, it was at the back of the pegs behind about 10 of the firetrucks - which don't seem that popular. The Vettes are really nice although they cost about $17 each. I should think about going to a market and putting up a stall I could sell hundreds of castings I got for some silly reason - lol. Enjoy your work day tomorrow!!

@cradiecast8407 Yeah, the Jag is nice...just needs some chrome on the grille and bumper. This was a brand new market, and Jan & Feb it is free of charge, so I booked 2 spaces, and parked my ute in one, and sold diecast off the back of it. Made $105 in the first 15 minutes by selling some construction models..but over the next 5 hours, I only made another $20 ! Not really worth the time and effort. 🙄

Thanks Brian, same to you. I hope you didn't play up on New Years Eve - lol. The Aston looks superb, very happy with that one. Beer O'clock yet. I am heading off to Bali again on the 15th January so may do another International unboxing again, with my Bintang!!

Great first finds of 2024. The MBX Jag and JL Aston are on my want list now. I do not care for the Land Rover casting in that set either. Those 4 Runners are THE hard to find car here. #ScalersDelight

Hey Paul. It was a great start to the new year. Very happy with that Jag. The Aston is gorgeous. I didn't realize the 4 runner was so popular. They had another one on the pegs. I should have grabbed it - lol.

Hi Karl. Happy New Year. I agree, the Aston Martin is a gorgeous model. Worthy of any diecast collector's collection. The Jag is a real looker as well. Just hope that Matchbox will make some variations of this casting.
