This might sound silly, but I've been watching you for a long time, I lived in Japan for a while, and we're about the same age. That first shot of the car at 0:45 made me think: Man, look at us. We're all growing up and finally figuring things out, eh? I'm also starting my 30's and finally have the resources to invest in things that I enjoy. It wasn't easy for our generation, so it's reassuring to see us all finally coming into our own. Never thought a shot of a Jeep would make me so emotional! Haha. Anyway, good luck on your adventures!

As someone who is now closer to 40 than 30, I disagree with 1 thing. I think for our generation, it has been a lot easier than for generations before us. And we might even be part of what is essentially a golden generation, where we were able to start having those resources at such an early age because I believe that the kids of today will find it more difficult.

I keep thinking I don't need to comment because these videos speak for themselves, they are superb. But holy crap, I need to get it out there. These videos are superb. They are absolutely gorgeous. Shots, editing, music, commentary. There is nothing that ain't perfect. And. And, next level Japan. That's the Japan we all love to discover when we road trip around the countryside. Green fields next to freeways and shinkansen lines, breathtaking natural beauty, and quintessential Japan with places like the antique shop. Loved it!

Hey Hannah, thank you for showing the other side of Japan. Your videos are so relaxing and therapeutic. The drives, the stunning views, the awesome drone shots and of course your smile and Chris’. As a subscriber, I appreciate the hard work and the effort you put into it. Hiking and camping is not easy, it is tiring and you sometimes do it by yourself, and then you’re gonna turn it to a beautiful video, plus the editing and sleepless nights. Maaan, how do you do that. From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate you. Content creators like you needs to be appreciated by millions!! Hope you get it soon!! 🎉🎉🎉 Thank you!

After being avid travelers, these last few years we've been idle. Sitting and waiting, wondering when our life was going to 'get back to normal.' I watch your videos every Sunday with tea while I get ready for the day, and something about this specific video finally hit me. It's up to us to define what our days look like. There is no going back, only going forward. I am determined to make next year amazing and get back out there. Thank you for the videos you post. They are so much more than just entertainment.

Hello. I am Japanese. I happened to find this channel on KZbin recommendations. I think this channel is a great channel filled with the beauty and charm of Japan that Japanese people don't realize. Thank you for coming to Japan. Coincidentally I am using the same camera (α7s III) as you. The videos you shoot are very attractive. So, what are your settings when shooting, what color profile do you use, what kind of slog shooting (pp1-pp11)? I would love to know which one you use. By the way, I personally think the best adventure spots are Kamikochi in Nagano Prefecture, Nyuhankei in Aichi Prefecture, and Takachiho Gorge in Miyazaki Prefecture.

@@CurrentlyHannah Also the “Offline Maps” feature is great, you can select an area and google maps will download an offline copy of it, which automatically updates monthly. Great for when cell service gets spotty, you can have multiple offline maps. For example a single offline map are is big enough to hold the entire country of Albania, or a bit more than half of the North Island of New Zealand 😅. I used it in Albania and New Zealand during my travels.

This might help you with deploying the awning. As you’re unfolding it deploy the arms soon as you can and just extend it as you move unfold further. At the end deploy the legs then you should be able to reach for the arms and lock it in place. Pls remember to secure it with a guy line especially on a windy day. 🙂 Long time quiet sub here, but I thought I’d maybe offer some helpful tip from a car camper. 😁 Hope this helps. Looking forward to more of your over-landing adventures! Happy camping, Hannah! ❤️⛺️
