Staying in the world of Polish metal, you may want to try Lux Occulta - The Mother and The Enemy, although it's definitely not that epic, but features some interesting ideas. Furia - Księżyc milczy luty may also be interesting to you (the name of the band translates to Fury, and the title to something like "The Moon remains silent, severe").

Hello. Welcome. I enjoyed watching your FACE as this ART did its thing to you. Patriarkh is the result of a separation of 1 band into 2. Half finally settled and renamed themselves. The original band Batushka is highly recommended. Then there were two Batushkas. Fear not, though, friend. All of it is in that epic Eastern Orthodox style. Happy Hunting

I wish I could tell you that all Polish black metal sounded like this, but Patriarkh takes a lot of the Polish style and then adds their own touches to it - the Eastern Orthodox chanting, the folk instruments, the cinematic flair - and makes it its own thing. Not a complaint at all! I just picked the album up recently and do not regret it. If you want to hear more of their origin points, look up pretty much anything from Batushka's "Litourgiya" album. My personal picks would be Istina if you want something slower and more atmospheric, or Yektenia 5 if you want something a bit heavier with melody. Either way, loved the review, you earned yourself a follower!

Patriarkh (pronounced like "Patriarch"), has another recent song put out called "Wierszalin III". But, the song I truly think you should check out is called "MARIA (Posledneje Pismo)". I think you would like that one. Their previous releases were less orchestral, as this is a new addition to their sound.. As a quick piece of trivia for you, They were previously called "Batushka", but another band uses that name as well so they changed it. They had a really great album under that name called "Hospodi". **All of their music has the choir. This is because their music is inspired by Eastern Orthodoxy".

Black metal is a lot more atmospheric and diy than death metal even though the two genres sound similar they are definitely very different. Think in terms of vocals the differences is that black metal tends to be more high-pitched screams and death metal is low grows.

Patriarkh is one of my fav black metal bands atm, really killing it. Formerly known as Batushka, they've gone through some controversies (seems more like a rule than exception in the world of black). They often sing eastern Europe orthodox hymns. I'd describe black as more hard and harsh compared to death, sharper sounds and commonly with some atmospheric dark tones, while death to me is warmer and thicker, more bass and thicker growls. Some bands to check out are Dimmu Borgir (try Gateways (LIVE - FORCES OF THE NORTHERN NIGHT), kzbin.info/www/bejne/jnjSkp5qfrh2hrc ), and Cradle of Filth (e.g. Malignant Perfection, the track which some may not consider black but def has that tone to it... ). Epic stuff.

If you like the combination of screams and traditional singing, I’d recommend checking out a band from Denmark called Myrkur. Amalie Bruun really brings a lot of atmosphere and energy with her singing and guitar skills
