Yippee, at last!!!! goodness me about time Karen - only joking with you (you know that), I can't wait to see your creations and you know you can always just give me a poke if you need anything designed. In answer to the question of who did it 1st, well as we all know Bee is the soap dough queen, and a few people had been using basic extruder discs like the circles before me, but I was the 1st to take the idea further by creating new discs to expand what soap makers could do.

I just got the exact extruder myself. What an awesome gift from Lisa you have received. Bee from Sorcery Soap was the first person I saw using the extruder.

I am sure, Bee is the one I saw using the extruder also. I can tell from her techniques she is also a sculpter. 👍

To keep the shapes in one place You could put the silver shapes on the Bottom like they are & the blue shapes in the circle indentations on top

I have hand sculpted Fimo and Sculpey clay for more years than I can count on hands and feet, so it was normal to try that with the extruders when they first came out. So when I needed a flower shape I thought why not try that. It worked beautifully. I don't know who first came up with the idea for soap dough, I am very very sure I wasn't the first!! There are many soapers out there that also sculpt. Anyway as soon as Lisa started coming out with her different extruder dies, I had to get some. I love them!!! She is so creative. I am stilll using my very first extruder. I have the new one, but like my old standby and Lisa makes dies for both sizes. Have fun with your new extruder. Excited to see you use it. Cheers and Blessings 💕💕💕

@@EdensSecret1 she doesn’t sell her soap because each one is almost a museum piece. So she just does small batch’s. You’ll love her color mixes and that sounds weird until you see them they really dint mix. She uses a soap that has the consistency of water. Then she decorates. Let me know what you think if you can find the time. I only watch a few of you professional soapers. I’ve watched almost everyone and I’ve whittled it down. 🤣. Good luck and stay safe.

I'm pretty sure Bee, from Socrcery Soap Dough, was the first. She's written several books about soap dough and she has an awesome YT channel where she makes all sorts of cute little soap dough creations! Check her out at Sorcery Soap! Lisa is brilliant too, I watch her often! Jill Gross

Hi Jill, yes I know Bee well, in fact Bee was inspired by a soap dough video of mine where I made Marshmallows out of soap dough, she turned it into a fine art!

Hey Jill, I love Bee and talk to her regularly, Bee was the creator of soap dough, a few people had been using extruders, but only the basic ones included in the original packs. I was the 1st person (I believe) that actually started creating discs for soap dough. In fact, I send a whole load of them to Bee as a gift so that she had more than just the basic shapes.

@@EdensSecret1 HI Karen, yes I know, I've seen it, lol! Do you think I'd miss an episode? Nope. I try to restrain myself on commenting! I have a big mouth. Not really, I just really get inspired by my YT friends.

@@IDreamInSoap Lisa you may be right! I watch so much as my own soapy dreams allow. There are so many soapers I admire. I love Holly at MO. River Soaps and Yellow Cottage Soapery. I happen to formulate skin care before I re I ever shaped a batch of cold process soap. And formulating is my first love. Although this week I've whipped up 6 batches of soap, so....I don't know what to say about that. I also have three distinct candle lines. Ok now I just sound to busy lol! It's how I like to hang my hat.Tbank you for always replying to my comments! It means a lot!
