It looks like it’s buoyancy level is off because if you look closely, when it’s not swimming it floats up and struggles to swim down. Let’s just hope it’s just a current pushing it around and not a health problem to the fish.

Currently have 7 females in the tank, yes they bicker, but give them enough places to hide, they are fine. His tank is fine for a betta and a snail or two but not 3 bettas, pleco, snail, danio and neons.

His is just not done right and even if the girls don't kill each other they will most likely die sooner because of stress. mollysgotmakeup13 and to do one right is a heavily planted 20 gallon long tank with 5 females and some corydoras. My sorority tank has tetras, corydoras, otos, guppies and a BN pleco. The girls leave the other fish alone and do their own thing.

They only need like 3 pellets every other day or every couple days. And that sorority is HORRIFYING. Like bruh. A 2.5 gallon tank is good for one betta, as long it has a heater and filter. I have 4 tanks ranging from 2.5 to 40 gallons, each tank has a betta and one is a sorority.

Valente Cauevas it’s still better then a tiny bowl that most people think is fine for them. 2.5 is the minimum tank size for a single betta fish. I have a tendency to keep up on water changes on small tanks, but go longer between them on larger tanks.

Pablos Constantine the betta in my 2.5 is building nests constantly so he’s happy. The bristlenose needs at least 20 gallons minimum, bigger is better. My 40 has 7 females bettas, tetras, bristlenose, corys and otos. If he cared he would have at least a 20 gallon long for all those fish and maybe 2 more female bettas.

Hey Paul, I have loved watching your videos and I was here since the very beginning,(when Luna was first bought). I’m just sadly disappointed in the fact that you have overstocked that tank, and that female bettas cannot live together in such a small tank. To add on to this, the neon tetras are hiding because they need big schools and big tanks to survive. Additionally, the Pleco has been in that tank for a while and he is not growing, probably due to the fact that he does not have the room to. I’m just letting you know, hope you will take this into consideration.

Paul, I used to constantly be waiting on your uploads but now a days I can’t say the same... the axies look in awful shape, they hardly have gills, the tank is way to small, and there’s not coverage and only two hides.. and that sorority tank size is extremely small for the amount of fish in there. The minimum size for a betta is around 3.5 gallons.. you have three.. fighting is still possible that’s why ppl like to give them even more room that even a 15 gallon tank. It’s very risky.. not to mention that you have a whole other fish in there plus the pleco plus the snail.. I’m sorry Paul but I’m not digging it at all. I rlly hope u realize... especially with your large audience. Please know this is not hate just I’m really disappointed in how this stuff is working out.

Katelynn Doyle this sorry excuse for a betta sorority tank is bad enough - the axolotls are shocking. as an axolotl breeder of 4 years, those conditions are unacceptable. axolotls are hardy, low-maintenance animals and only do poorly and look sickly in the case of utter neglect. those poor babies. i've seen first-time aquarium owners do better with axolotls than this.

Hi, Paul. Just saw the axolotl in your video and I noticed that they are not quite healthy. Their gill were a bit short. So maybe control the water temperature at 23-25 degrees Celsius (73.4-75.4 degrees Fahrenheit) would make them feel better. Cool water is very important for them.

@@loganwood1375 Females are just as territorial as males. It's possible to keep a sorority but it is full of risk and you must have back up tanks just in case it doesn't work. You need an odd number of females in a large tank. They need a space to keep themselves preoccupied and not fight. Paul has a decent amount of Bettas but he doesn't have the proper tank size. Along with this, the tank lacks extensive hiding areas which is essential for preventing the Bettas from fighting

Something sort of interesting for my betas, my female is aggressive so she is in a tank by herself, and my male is pretty docile, so he is with 2 albino coris, an aquatic frog and a snail and they get along great. I think it depends on the beta’s personalities as well as their gender...

BlazzyBIazzy Unfortunately he won't listen. He thinks it's just the males that are aggressive. It's true that some may be able to live with others for awhile but they are aggressive fish & need to be isolated if you really want them to thrive. Notice how one of the new fishes was being bullied by the existing fish? Later, Paul pans to the tank & both are in the back but unseen? (They will spar and bully each other till death. I'm disappointed right now but i hope he learns and educates everybody.)
