I always love a Penny cameo! What a little sweetie! There are a lot of games I'm excited about coming out in 2023, including all of these that I backed on Kickstarter or Gamefound: Final Girl Series 2, Illiterati, Tesseract, Fit to Print, Skyrise, Fliptown, Library Labyrinth, Astro Knights, 20 Strong, Castles of Burgundy: Special Edition, and Sleeping Gods: Distant Skies. Fika is pronounced "Fiika" with a long I :) "Fika is a concept, a state of mind, an attitude and an important part of Swedish culture. Many Swedes consider that it is almost essential to make time for fika every day. It means making time for friends and colleagues to share a cup of coffee (or tea) and a little something to eat." This was always a small inside joke between Finnish colleagues, when speaking about our Swedish colleagues :D

I will have to check out Bark Avenue. We have a chihuahua named Penny and don’t have any dog themed games. I think #1 on my list for 2023 is Redwood. I’m a nature photographer by hobby and eager to get this on my table. I’m also excited about Wild Gardens (last year's Keystone North America by Rose Gauntlet was great!) and Fit to Print, and for the expansions for Honey Buzz, Meadow, and Everdell to hit retail. I’m going to have to keep my eye out for Starry Night Sky as well. I wasn’t aware of it until now. Sounds somewhat like the little card game Stellar. 2023 could be an expensive year 😰

My partner Francis loves nature photography so I'm sure he would love that one. We might have to try it. Yeah I really enjoyed Keystone North America! I'm thinking Starry Night Sky might just show up sometime this year in Target. I'll have to take another trip to the US to grab it. 😂

OMG, Penny is sooo cute. That is very cool she will be in a board game. I did that with my and and myself, we are on a card in a game i own ( Bear Stare Down ) I just backed AMONG CULTISTS - A Social Deduction Thriller on Kickstarter, and should be here in 2023. Hmmm, might need to look into Fit to Print. Very interested in Scholars of the South Tigris. Oh i'll have to keep an eye out for the Ark Nova Xpac, Thanks for the head's up. Sweet if they add co-op to Lost Ruins then i will be adding that to my cart so fast when it comes out. Thanks for a great video.

I'm also excited for Unconscious Mind. The Isofarian Guard is the second longest outstanding Kickstarter I have and it's just about to cross that finish line, they really took time and increased the scoop of the game beautifully written and narrative game for 1-2 players excited to explore it with my fiance. A couple other projects I've backed that are supposed to deliver this year which I am excited about include Castles of Burgundy Deluxe, Beast, The Witcher Old World, Sleep Gods Distant Skies and The Dark Quarter.

I also backed both Maple Valley and Fit to Print. Tesseract was on my wish list, because it looks beautiful, but I was unsure about how all the dice would stack up and hold in place, so I decided not to back it. I'll wait for some reviews to see if it's worth getting still later on.

Love you transitions!!! How did you find discovering these games? Kickstarter games are easy to find as they have pretty much already gone through their marketing process, but normal publisher to retail games are harder to determine just from bgg You have certainly got me interested to look at Search for Lost Species and Fika - we have been waiting for a new coffee game to pair a cocktail that we created by accident

Honestly it wasn't one that really excited me. I would try it for sure but overall I don't love co-op games and I think I just love The Isle Of Cats gameplay so much that its hard to beat! I think if I did play it I would enjoy it most as a solo game. 😊👍🏻

I backed Septima and Maple Valley (plus Creature Comforts that I don't have yet) and can't wait to get them! As well as The Dark Quarter, Tiny Epic Vikings, The Fox Experiment and Aqua Garden 🙈 Also eagerly waiting for the Honey Buzz Fall Flavours expansion. Witchbound and Wild Gardens look great! I'm attracted by Bark Avenue. I don't know what it is about, but I'm already convinced (I hope it will be sold in retail stores, as I don't do crowdfunding projects) I already purchased Dog Park (but haven't played It yet). Someone said = these games are more for dog lovers Than for BG lovers. I would say: can't we love them both? (well, we love our little members of the family much more, of course) It must be fun to have one's own dog on a card! (but it's the most expensive pledge) I'm surely going to watch your video about this game later on ! Septima attracts me a lot, I love the theme (as well as Witchbound). I hope it's not to much brain breaking! I'll see in time If Fit to Print is a game for me, but the team that created Cascadia and Calico is composed of great creative minds. I love these games. WOW! Flowar is gorgeous, even the board is flower-shaped! Tesseract is intriguing. What is this thing about? I have to follow this one! Point City must be funny! Otherwise, I'm waiting for Dune Imperium new expansion (Immortality), I love this game, Ark Nova of course, It's a wonderful world new campaign (Loisir et décadence, I don't know the English title), Sub Terra II, Everdell 's expansions too, Dice Hospital the Roll and write... I'll have to make choices! It's strange, but I'm not enthralled by Honey Buzz. I tend to mix up the different kinds of hive tiles (rosemary, cherry tree....), even after many plays, and it's a bit annoying. I'd like to try Brazil Imperial expansion "automâto": it was the solo version tested during the creation of the game. My copy of Brazil Imperial is still waiting for me, maybe with an automat I'll be less impressed (hem!) You made me add many new board games I didn't know before to my wish list!!!!! (and yet I don't like charcuterie ha ha! the French word "charcuterie" is only for the (fat) meat preparations, mostly pork (ham, sausages...), there's no cheese in a charcuterie dish.)
