Ok boss, let's tune your skills when picking up a trailer. First of all turn your flashers on, pull test, connect lines, then ck 5th wheel pin. Walk back to back of the trailer, looking at the lights, get under and check brake thickness etc. Tires for cuts or low pressure. Then doors for closed completely and lights. Then right side for brakes ya gotta stoop down under the trailer, then walking towards the front checking lights etc. Also get a Billy club to smack the tires. If you don't check the springs under the trailer for connection, if they break your lines will drag, then scrape an air line. If you use this method, you won't be going back an forth from the back of the trailer, just one walk around. Try it and see...

Be careful with those chemicals they can be toxic. Please in the future if you have to help unloading them wear a respirator because of the fumes. Be safe.
