I went ahead and upgraded every part of the audio system to give Schneider a improved Sound appeal.
NOTES: Canbus on factory wires listed, Harness from radio might have been labeled wrong. If signal for canbus isn't working swap wire inputs

Thanks for uploading. I'm also an R171 SLK 55 amg owner. Finding aftermarket support parts in the USA for this car is quite challenging. Love the car though! I just did audio updates for mine as well, except I went with Rockford Fosgate replacements.

Yes!!! Locating an aftermarket alternative is challenging to the point of us having to create something completely from scratch. Rockford is a solid choice also!

Okay almost done with full audio install went with almost same set up. Xtrons head unit 4 JL door speakers c1 components in front coax in rear. 2 kicker amps one for sun one for door speakers. Question is I took out old harmen amp can I use factory amp pos negative and remote? Or will I have to use distribution blocks from sub amp for that. Also rca for 4 channel amp is it 2 sets of rca one for l and right front and the second set to rear left and right? Sorry to bug you but you help me so much on my 04 mb e320 with harmen

Doing my 04 e320 2nd head unit went with the new extrons 12 got to get rid of fiber optics in it have a kicker 4 channel amp to power 4 jl components I need to run all new speaker wires to the head unit or can I tap in and still go to head unit

My e320 2004 amp harmon in trunk left side i finally found it and wanted to replace it with kicker 4 channel just was wondering to end the fiber optic in it need a little help with wiring it. It has a kicker sub amp for the kicker L7 12 in trunk now i want to wire 4 jl door speakers to new 4 channel. With new xtrons stereo. So speaker wires i wire to wiring harness to door speakers.

Love your chamnel i have 2004 e320 4matic i have been trying to do the relay on cd changer. I have watched your video on cd changer compartment. I ordered everthing and did everthing but need to know how to wire it in your video you have it hooked to 12volt drill battery i need the wiring diagram for car though please help. I am leaving factory unit in for now.

Hi Robert, a safe alternative for 12v Power would be the cig light directly below. It's acc only, which is great and will provide power and ground. Just tap in, and you should be good to go.

​@@PANZERSGARAGE okay so my question is i got two wires for motor connect them to relay then take 2 wires off cig lighter and connect them on side of relay so relay will have a total of 4 wires tuats it? I got confused when you made your own harness lol

@Robert Ehlers 11:42 on that video shows how to hook it up. The harness is basically the same as the wiring layout. You only need the 2 wires off the lift gate(CD changer housing) to connect to the motor seqment the rest is basically power & ground. I described this in the video marked 11:42

​@@PANZERSGARAGE yes love your channel i am just lost i been at this for a week lol. I just dont understand. I got the part with cig lighter has 3 wires so i be using 2 of them the groind and power. Of cig lighter theb i got the two wires from motor. So the changer had to harness 1 fiber optuc which i have looped and then the power fir changer so ibe usung that as well so 6 wores are going in the relay. Is that right? Also was looking for your instagram but link broke.

If i use dactory command unit and loop the cd changer can i get door to open and close. Is canbus the reason i also got therelay you had. I broke the screws so i ordered another off ebay so how do i get by? I dont want to break ia new one. Thanks i subscribed and love following your video

Well I have the template using a combo of 1inch MDF and the main frame and center plexi showing the sub. I used MDF spacers on the ends to support the panel as a whole and lift it to level it as I described

@@PANZERSGARAGE okay thanks I def be bothering you with more questions lol went with xtrons 12 the newer one with the little part to screw in hazard panel I like how the older android 10 fit it was to slow so now got the xtrons 8core had to buy the rear backup camera got same a yours and already have xtrons dvr installed last unit going to be adding it own simm card 4g. Have new kicker 4 channel 2 power ge jls I got in the doors and I have a kicker l7 12 in thin truck box design sealed it has its own kicker amp so I can finally eliminate fiber optic going to do a install video 📷
