Holy shit this video aged so well (except for the Jacksonville call ofc). Literally everything from the comparison to Allen, Lamar's chip on his shoulder, and his slide to a better situation is on point. This man does not miss on a Lamar take.

I watched Lamar Jackson during most of his Heisman winning season and his last season at Louisville and I was pretty sure that he would find success in the NFL. Now he has pretty much become the very best offensive player in the league.

Race. The answer is race, and just because Bill Polian is, like most racists, too cowardly to just say that, doesn't mean we can't.

1. Thanks for this stroll down memory lane! It has definitely aged extremely well. 2. I shook my head when the Ravens drafted Lamar. But after he replaced Joe I understood why they drafted him (and thanked my stars that they did) -- Lamar is magic. So much so that it's taken the Ravens 5 years to figure out he, like ALL NFL QBs, needs, you know, RECEIVERS! And neither he, nor any other NFL QB, can do it alone. Look at Mahomes, literally CRYING on the sidelines because for the first time his WRs suck. ALL or MOST of Lamar's WRs either sucked, or were nowhere near the elite status of ALL other NFL teams' WRs. The Ravens have the LOWEST PAY to WRs in the NFL. And it's always shown. THIS YEAR, with Lamar's input to draft Zay, they FINALLY hit a grand slam. With Lamar's input. 3. Here's the thing about Lamar...thinly (or not) veiled racist comments, full court press League collusion to keep him from going to another team (wonder how smart Atlanta feels now), his rookie home boy ZAY!!! getting a commercial before he even finished his first full season while Lamar's gotten nada from that revenue channel. It doesn't matter. Lamar just keeps on winning. He got his contract in the face of all the experts insisting he should not have his mom as his agent. He won the top spot in the AFC this year. And he IS the 2023 MVP. So...back at the studio...retired, retarded, irrelevant talking heads just keep on talking. And there's an old say, roughly translated: "If you keep quiet people won't know just how stupid you really are". So keep on talking, and Lamar will keep on winning. Peace.

Only one downside to Lamar being the Raven's QB. 😎 How much it's cost me to take my boy's to M&T for a couple home-games a year ! 💜
@samk480111 ай бұрын
@@AJCsr LOL. I feel ya. But think about this: Suppose you're a Fins fan, and with all that talent, and all that promise, they're watching the rest of the post season on TV. And THEY spent the same amount as Ravens fans. They're just not getting the same return on their investment. GO RAVENS!

Bill was probably right if you think about it. The Ravens are the only team who were willing to build their whole team and scheme around Lamar. It’s the only way to run an offense like that. Lamar was never going to run a Peyton Manning style offense. He got lucky with a team willing to break the NFL norm. Bill was wrong about his talent. Truth is though, he’s one major knee injury from being a completely different QB. Running QB’s won’t be playing at 45 let alone 35.
@dantheman815211 ай бұрын
Burrow already had a two major injuries. Face facts he was dead wrong.

So far, Lamar's injuries have come from passing plays, not running the ball.
