Hey Kyle, I love your content. Need your opinion on something - I have a 2022 G82 M4 in Manual, had it for around 6 months with 7500km now (got it brand new), if you were me would you sell it before winter (I live in Canada) or get winter tires and drive it through the winter?

(Personally) I would consider seeing what your cost basis would be if you sold it, but if you love the car (which I’m sure you do, especially with the manual!) winter tires would definitely suffice for making it usable throughout winter. I do think these next 6-12 mo will not be super kind to the new car market but as mentioned that’s just a guess

That’s amazing! Honestly if you drive only on the highway it can be alittle stress inducing, but either way- just stay away from other cars and if you can manage- get the whole thing PPF’d in xpel stealth. Will make it easy to wash and use as a normal car!

Should of gotten the gloss grey then just did the entire car with the stealth Xpel to make it appear frozen. So If any body work needs to be done, repairing it will be much easier.

For sure, if I did it again I’d probably go that direction. However xpel’ing a whole car is like 7-8k of added expense, which isn’t always great since it doesn’t add any value.

Minor but if you could get a new mic because the volume of your mic is off and has an echo effect on it, otherwise great video and really insightful on living with matte paint.

Was windy so had to use a shotgun mic on this video, a lav was picking up too much noise otherwise- and only had a short period of time with the car before I had to drop it off to the next buyer. Do you recommend a RWD as a daily? I've found a really well specced g80 but it's a RWD and that's the only thing making me hesitate. I live in the north west of the USA so I get a good amount of rain here.

I personally never had an issue with it in Chicago! I’ve always been an advocate for proper tires over AWD, although AWD is great- the M3 has always been rear drive & I’ve dailyed the previous generations with no issues. If the deal is right, I would say go for it!

The car is honestly properly fast stock, but it isnt super dramatic if that makes sense? The 8 speed is fast, but almost too fast that it takes away some of the fun - I did like the G80, but I opted to go for more older/modified/raw cars for my personal preference - I think it would be hard to have the G80 and not want to do tune downpipes intakes etc, if I had one again I certainly would add those mods! @@milkshake2226

buying a rear wheel drive track car for commuting in Chicago weather. Never mind the foolish rationale used here for buying this car in the first place, that alone is reason to flame you here. That car is a good second car, not a primary DD commuting car in the area of the country you live in. Lesson learned I guess. BMWs have gone downhill in the past 10 years anyway so you're better off.

You must say bmw lost their way in design and going turbo routs was a big big mistake..e92 m3 is the real car especially if it comes with manual transmissions..driving these newer cars dose not make you feel connected with it..it is too soft..enough talks mate

Yeah unfortunately with current epa regulations you can’t put big naturally aspirated motors in these cars and continue to make power efficiently. E92 is a beautiful car & yes in manual is fantastic.

Let’s be honest, there aren’t too many car enthusiasts, especially a KZbinr who is looking for content, that keeps their vehicle stock. Additionally, bolt ons and tune for this platform aren’t pricey. At the moment, a stage 2 full e85 tune may cost a few thousand just because of the dme unlock but let’s say the downpipe and tune cost you 5K. Vehicle is around 90-100K with options. On the high end you spend 105k total to keep up with cars and pass many super cars and even a few “hyper” cars. I had my f82 at 600 whp running in the low 10s for a few grand in mods, including crank hub, and car had zero problems. Definitely wasn’t pricey by any means.

@@michaeld1503 Well, I question some of your pricing..... but agree, everyone is modifying and tuning. A such, I have a stage 2 GT-R that runs in the 8"S, I will not run any BMW M3's, 4's , Alpina's etc..anymore because A: It's a moot issue. B: Seems most of the drivers are 20 somethings and inexperienced. And C: The drivers aren't used to getting spanked and have a hissy fit when they lose.
