Nice collection. Thanks for sharing. I have one deck that came in that ridiculous, wasteful, earth-damaging packaging. If we all refused to purchase decks that are packaged like that, the publishers would stop doing it. Let's do it!

I think it is packaged so big to accommodate the larger guide book. I buy these decks because of the large guide books, but I agree the packaging is wasteful and quite annoying to store.

@@Starsofneon I understand that it's meant to keep the guidebook. But, I have many decks, indie and mass-produced, that include a good guidebook, the size of the deck. The Brady Tarot, This Might Hurt, Crow, and Star Spinner, are a few. Publishers can decide to make a smaller book, figure out a way to attach the book and deck - minus the big box, or sell the book and deck separately. I think the effort would be worth it.

The larger Shadowscapes is the Czech edition, and I got my copy from bookdepository this summer. The art is even better in the larger version, and I do indeed use it much more often.

I have the MM Intuitive Night Goddess and it is amazing. I just finished working with this deck for a week and the readings were so accurate. The colors are gorgeous! The cards are matte, not what I prefer, and though a thick deck the cards shuffle beautifully. She is in my top 5 tarot decks. And she pairs wonderfully with every deck I have in my collection. Even the Zombie Tarot. LOL!

Great video, love seeing your take on decks! It looks like Shadowscapes is missing from the list of decks in the description. I got the Universal Celtic tarot in 2021, and the tiny brochure's one-sentence description of what's on each card, without keywords or meanings, has stumped me. Especially on the cards where the artwork deviates significantly from the traditional RWS, I'm not sure how to interpret it (not that I mind a non-standard tarot, but it's helpful if the creator shares their meaning). There's a Sept 2021 walk-through from HazelJane Tarot that was helpful on some of the cards (and validating that I'm not crazy for feeling like the deck doesn't match up). kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2mpZZ2tjNd3b8U Perhaps you'll do a deep dive of using it in readings? I feel the same way about the Dark Grimoire. I got mine off of Etsy. I was intimidated but for me I think its b/c I am a beginner. But I DID connect with it. I did one reading with it and I don't remember my question, but I DO remember laughing out loud b/c the decks reply was kind of making fun of me. I got the impression it was calling me an idiot. lol. I love the decks brutal honesty! I think it knew I wasn't really ready for it yet. I have used it a few times and, for me, it really does call to me sort of out of nowhere. Love the artwork.
