Good for you for choosing planners and systems that work for you for you. That’s how it should be. I always plan in what I want to plan in because my planner is for me…and my family because they benefit from my planner too 😉 My planner has to bring me joy so I want to use it and continue using it because it doesn’t do me any good if I don’t use it. And it has to work for me and keep me organized because that’s it’s job. So using what I want and need is of the upmost importance. And I’ve found over the years that there’s folks that use all sorts of planners in the community (there are so so so many planners) and seeing me use my planner and how I use them helps them even if they use a different planner because you can take idea, inspiration, decor etc and make it work in different planners. Of course it’s good to allow yourself to change when your life changes or when a planner isn’t working.

Hello Julie. I really love the vibe you have on your videos. I just wanted to share a quote I heard from JashiiCorin last year. "We don't make mistakes, it's just a moderation in design". Just loved it and something I have come to live by. I had 5 planners last year, I only have 3 this year. 1 for work, 1 for memory keeping and 1 is my reading journal. I know it won't be long until these 3 has some babies. They always do. Haha. Keep up the amazing job you do. Can't wait for the next video.

I've been tracking our health, sick/visits, since end 2017 when we picked up nasty cases of RSV. It was a long road back to health. When i picked up a bacterial bronchial-something this year, they knew what to check and cleared it up right away.

Thank you for saying you don’t have to do what everyone else is doing. I think a lot of channels get caught up in that. Planning is about organization and whatever else you need it for. I enjoy your channel because it reminds me why I plan and I don’t feel pressured to buy the next shiny planner. I just enjoy planning along with you. I plan on a The Penny Pages Journaling hybrid monthly, weekly, daily on a B6 Rings. (they have been removed from the shop as she is reformatting) I feel I can plan along with you even though you don’t use this planner. That to me is why I keep watching.

Thanks @Julie, but you and others have influenced me to use the HOBO Cousin 😀 I was a little stressed out because I was using my HP classic and EC Daily Petite and that was working for me. Making this transition to one planner really made me nervous. However, I have to say that I feel better about it because I made my daily pages look like the EC petite daily planner and I have no regerts so far :) Plus, I get to use more of my stickers!

Holy fuckballs. I think you just solved one (of many 😅) of my planner problems this year - where to have my lists etc. now I’m using the Cousin instead of a BuJo. In my MEGA!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️ now if I could only find a system I can use for my extraneous work stuff and goals setting etc I’m sorted!

Just a thought, I’ve seen people put decorative paper inside the clear covers for Hobonichi planners that completely hide the actual color of the planner cover. What if you did that, but also tried photocopying the cover of the regular weeks so that you could use that image and color for the mega? 🤷‍♀️

The Hobonichi cousin is sold in various places. Amazon, Jetpens, and the Hobonichi website are a few options. They now come in English and Japanese (and I think also Chinese) so pay attention to which one you want. There is also a spring (April) start edition that will be released shortly.
