Well the other too I agree with but Russell... not really. He had quite a few mishaps, crashes, inconsistencies e.t.c. To say he was on another level seems a stretch although he is on my top 5 probably as well!

@@christosstavrou9435 Maybe, but so did everyone else including Hulkenberg. Just Hulkenberg and Russell outperformed their cars way more than any other driver on the grid. I'd probably say Gasly and Leclerc are close, but these are the top 3 I have for sure.

Imagine giving alonso and gasly the same rating. gasly was much better than him and also hulk. he had slower car but made the most of it. he got a podium, a lot of points. since summer break he got 36 points. look at stats. gasly was better, he deserved a or even s. perfect season from him

Ocon would’ve beaten Gasly in 2023 if not for reliability and was beating him again this year until Gasly got all of the mega-upgrades that turned his car into a rocket ship. Gasly has had a strong end to the year, but that does not mean he’s had a better year than Alonso or Hulk who’ve been strong throughout the season.

@@valken148 no, he wouldnt have. stop looking at dnf stats and watch the actual season. gasly was better than ocon in 2023 and faster in both qualy and race pace. this year at the start ocon was better but gasly turned it around and no its not because of the mega upgrades because ocon recieved those and still lost. gasly definitely had a much better year than hulk though

I feel like giving Riccardo an E and Tsunoda a B+ is a little harsh. Remembering that Yuki only finished +1 on head to head (even after Riccardo was on the receiving end of Many questionable strategy decisions. I get that he didn’t drive as well as Tsunoda (particularly in qualifying), but I think the gap between wasn’t that significant.

Not Zhou rated higher than Danny Ric 😭 Ricciardo was consistently beating Tsunoda mid-season. Zhou was consistently P20.

It kind of is harsh, but also understandable. If Ricciardo wasn't Ricciardo you could argue he had a decent season. But because he is Ricciardo there were expectations on him that he couldn't deliver on, making his season disappointing. I wouldn't go as low as E, but a D considering what he was once capable of is justified in my eyes. Also he rated Yuki a B-, not a B+.
