I have the mini 24/24 and that’s my favorite of all time Hermes bags. It fits so much and the back pocket will fit two iPhones and it converts to a backpack, shoulder bag, crossbody bag or a belt bag. I also have the size 29, but that is heavy with only shoulder or hand carry.

Focus on the Birkin 25. Every other bag is a distraction and an obstacle for you . For me, I love Birkin and Kelly 28, but a long strap is almost a must. And the weight is a really big factor. So, I’ll cross that bridge when I get there 😅 I forgot the Kelly en Desordre, I actually want it the most ❤

Tx for the shoutout Jessie ! The mini 24/24 is actually quite heavy if you get a chance to try it out. I’ve also gotten to a stage I don’t really wear my B or K much and agree the non quota bags are the way to go. The B or K will always look a bit more dressy even if they are retourne style. For the Kelly wallet or to go I’d keep checking second hand prices as I’m seeing them pop up more and prices are going down. I use Kelly to go mainly for travel and within larger totes as a kind of grab and go. But I agree adding the accessory may be a lot cheaper as larger wallets are no longer that popular due to ppl using their digital wallets more.

Don't get anything. Save up for your dream bag which is the B25. I personally don't like the Birkin at all and would get the K25 but you will never be satisfied with any of those items and will still crave the B25.

I own Birkin 25 and I have 3 Kelly’s , one 28 and the mini in Sellier and my last addition is the Kelly 25 Retourne. Girl!!!!! Kelly 25 Retourne all the way! Gosh I just wish I had that one first and wouldn’t even bother for the sellier. I think you are like me and have a more casual lifestyle, the sellier is too proper, too serious for everyday but the retourne, I wear it all the time. It became my most use bag, I will never go for sellier again! As for the birkin 25, it’s cute but it will never be a bag that will get a hell out of use for me. The short handles are fussy, sometimes you don’t know what to do with the bag when you shop or something. Anyway, just my 2 cents since so many gasp for the sellier, I feel we probably have very different lifestyles, I love how easy the retourne is to use! ❤

Thx for the interesting video. About the Constance: Did you ever wear/have a HBelt? If you liked it you might like the H on the Constance. It might be a bit too loud compared with your other bagstyles (which I really like). Bought the KWallet and a strap but I don’t use it that much. Still I’d recommend a Kelly wallet instead of a ToGo bc if the price. You might love a Kelly 25R more than the B25 because you’re not using the B30. I use my B30 bc I love the casual style. B25 is very cute but handheld only, which might not be the most usable bag…

Jess your so effortless any bags of any colour would look good being carried by you, I’m gonna start getting Bottega because they started giving touch ups on any leather hood from them. The 24 24 bag from Hermes I live for a men’s bags but only like it when the hard leather buckle area is in crocodile to contrast it, othered wise I find it cheapens the leather of the bags. My vote is for the Birkin 25 first, and Kelly to Go. I do not want to buy and then have to get conversion kit! Just get the bag. 😅😅 I am looking for a Spring/Summer tote bag I can use and the Gucci Canvas Bag with Embossed detail is calling and harassing me.😅 It is $2,250 and I was laughing hearing your voice exclaim “it’s a simple canvas bag! Why buy that when you can get it cheaper?” And I paused. I will still probably get it but I decided to wait and instead donate to a charity instead. That made me feel good and stopped the itch to blow some money. Win/Win!💃🏿

Since your collection of Hermes’ handbags is varied and quite plentiful, if you should buy a next Hermes bag, which not start off as if you are starting from ground zero. If that’s the case, would your first bag be a Kelly or a Birkin? If so, then decide whether it’s a K or a B. If not, consider all the other bags you had mentioned - no Rouli since you have decided to let go of it. My thoughts - a retourne 25 Kelly and a mini 24/24 are pretty similar, just that the Kelly 25 is more formal but can be dressed down.

I am a Kellier sellier girl all the way. I tried the retourne style for that more casual look too. OMG so FUSSY!!! I wear my Sellier's open all the time...like I don't strap it up or barely close the top. You can't do that with retourne or all your stuff will fall out! The front part is so soft that you HAVE to open & close the top of the bag every stinking time you need to get something out. And you really can't open/close with one hand very easily. You need to set the bag down to do it right. Who has time for that??? I sold that bag after a few months and NEVERRR looked back.

I too have been vacillating between the Kelly wallet and the Kelly to go. After watching one of GPS's vids on it I think I'm going to go with the Kelly wallet/conversion kit. I'm just trying to decide on color now 😉 PS If I love it, the money I save getting the wallet will allow me to get a couple more colors for about the same price as one Kelly To Go. I just wished the Kelly wallet had a back pocket like the Constance wallet.

Can’t the Kelly Danse be used as a backpack as well, but can also be used as a crossbody? For me, I prefer the more streamlined look of a Danse, or even an Elan over the 24/24. I have a tendency to wear clothes with loads of pockets, never carry much on me, so for my use a Kelly wallet with a conversion kit is better. I also love that I can wear wocs/tiny bags as a cross body hidden under a coat/jacket to protect them from the elements… wearing them that close to the body w/ the Kelly lock peeking through almost makes them look like hyper functional jewellery! Also, idk how the to-go does on the resell market, so paying that much for it might not make financial sense for me personally. From a design pov, I much prefer the look of the wrap around sangles compared to the to-go’s sangles that stiffly stick out when the woc isn’t locked up properly, so for those reasons I’d rather get the wallet (then save the extra $ for a future Birkin/Kelly). I think your reason for sticking with Hermes makes a lot of sense re the repair aspect. I also avoid buying Coach bags (as well as many other brands) b/c I had experience of two of my relatives being a hoarder/collector. The idea of collecting far too many things that don’t hold value, having to clean them, impulse buying more and more, and making sure they’re able to last a lifetime seems like needless stress. Time is a luxury we can’t get back, and stressing too much over material things that don’t even hold their value makes no sense to me-lol I prefer to admire them from afar on my phone. A tiny pic on my phone doesn’t take up as much space/precious time. 😂

I do wonder how much the Kelly Elan holds its value since you can remove the strap to convert it into a clutch. Also, I wonder how big the Elan is compared to the WOC? If I were thinking of buying a Kelly woc (as opposed to the wallet) for the wallet/clutch aspect, but worried about not being able to fit enough into a WOC… …I’d pick the Elan over the WOC esp if the resell value is better. I’ve never been into the Pochette, nor the mini Kelly, but the simplicity, space, and more elongated Elan shape is super pretty/functional. That being said, if you’re sick of having too many Kelly-shaped bags in sellier… then go for the wallet/woc instead.

@@Jessiestyle Lol I actually never thought of it until you mentioned that the WOC doesn't have enough space. I'm sure there must be conversion kits for the Elan too that allow you to have a long crossbody strap... that way you have a clutch, shoulder bag, and a crossbody conversion kit. That being said, I think other commenters are totally right about you taking your time to save up, and scratching that B25 itch first before buying a wallet/WOC/Elan. At least you can try out your possible HG bag, and if it turns out for whatever reason that the B25 doesn't work for you... at least it still has great resale value, and is more popular on the resale market than smaller items like a wallet, WOC, and Elan. Then you can sell the B25, and go for some of the 'cheaper'/smaller H bags.
