My 2024 Predictions For Crypto

This is my 2024 thesis on where I see crypto going after hundreds of hours of research, podcasts and analysis.
I also dive into my 2023 predictions and share what I got right and what I got wrong.
I've spent the past year researching and trying to understand where crypto is going. I've spend hundreds of hours listening to podcasts, research , talking with developers all to try to uncover what's next for this space.
In this video I cover where I believe crypto is going in 2024 and beyond. Why I believe these things and the research to back it up and in general try to explore all the current forces at play that are dictating the future of crypto and what's next.
I'm always trying to improve as an investors, to question my own thoughts and beliefs and really get to the truth. When Investing the truth is your friend, and self deception is the ultimate enemy and will leave you broke.
So that is exactly what I've tried to do, and this is the result of all those efforts. I'm always open to critique of my ideas and any feedback you have.

I am almost always talking about tokens that I myself own and obviously have a bias toward seeing them appricate in value.
Do your own research always! I'm a normal guy who makes mistakes and has made plenty so far during this journey. So choosing to blindly copy what I'm doing isn't going to lead you to just making a ton of money. I've had investments where I've lost EVERYTHING. I don't just say do your own research as a legal covering but because you really need to do your own research and make your own call. If you don't understand what you're investing in you can lose A LOT of money! Especially in crypto which is super super risky. A lot of the projects I like to jump in are really small crypto projects which make them even more insane risky. Past performance doesn't mean the project will do the same thing in the future, no one can predict the future and what will happen next. I'm pretty passionate about this, I am by no means a professional investor. I'm on my journey to a million dollars, I don't even have the experience to have made a million dollars. All this is to share my journey because I believe there is value in watching me both succeed and fail. It's my story I'm sharing with all of you, DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH and don't just blindly copy me😄
Also all of this info might be accurate at the time of me recording and posting but in the future things could change. Especially in crypto things change fast, so just be aware of that. Thanks!

I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than $21k passively by just investing through an advisor, and I don't have to do much work. Inflation or no inflation, my finances remain secure. So I really don't blame people who panic.

Short term I think we'll have a bump with the fork of Atom and airdrop that comes from that. Long term not sure, they're one of the coolest communities in the space but they lack a shelling point.

Great content Jesse. I don't know you'll be correct or not this time. I and some good analysts forsee a recession mid this year. However, you'll probably be correct on most if soft-landing occurs (and postpones recession 2-3 years).

Great Work, Really love you view on Polygon, Polygon has become my largest holding even above eth, all the upgrades going onto ETH being super L2 focued, I believe that Polygon Is solving problems that even L1 Projects like PokaDot, Cosmos, ETC. Have yet to even come close to, The market cap in the bull run was 52B for pokadot and matic was only 19.2B, Currently sitting at 10B FDV it seems so hard for Polygon not to at LEAST climb up to pokadots Bull Run marketcap. Which is only a 5x It seems unlikey not to Surpass a 10x

Secondly in my experience there’s always another opportunity. Take it slow, don’t fomo in and make sure you really put in the work. Shortcuts won’t work, but luckily most people don’t put in much work with crypto and it’s easy to get an edge compared to stocks, etc. Good luck! Hope you make millions🙌🏻

I hold over 50 different projects currently, although I wish it was lower. The types range from gaming, to infra, to defi, to DePIN, to pretty everything lol. Overall though all solid fundamentals vs narrative plays. I do have a few narrative plays but not many.

I would never tell someone what to do with their own money. It really just depends on your risk tolerance, and investing time frame. I'd say you should dive into Polygon and Ethereum, understand both and then make your best judgement call. Good luck!

They said mobile gaming was a joke now it represents the largest sector in gaming. People just don’t like change. Once we get actual good quality games I think that will start changing minds. The games last cycle were dog crap cash grabs which turned a lot of people off. Off the grid, Illuvium, Star Atlas, Shrapnel, etc… all long amazing. The real long term future is equity crypto. Where a token owns an apartment building and 50% of the rents are used to buy and burn the token and 25% are used to demolish and rebuild apartment after 30 years. Same with oil wells, solar plants, desalinization, hamburger joints, …

I actually think that ETH doing well would be bad for crypto. I think the faster that slow, expensive network dies and something that actually has the speed and low cost to be used in real life becomes the norm the better. Someone curious about crypto seeing that they have to pay $18 in fees to buy a $20 NFT can't be turned off faster.

You're referring to the L1 which is a piece of Ethereum but not representative of Ethereum as a whole. L2's like Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, Base, etc all have super cheap fees and are built on Ethereum as well. Also EigenLayer which comes out this year will allow for new L1's and more to be built on Ethereum.
