I love your honesty and that you are open with the world about your journey and thoughts. I have a similar story in a lot of ways. I am an engineer. I have dedicated a little over 30 years of my life to engineering. I have a PhD in engineering, I am licensed in several states, I have published research articles, I have taught at a university level, and I have worked in several engineering companies. As I go into the second half of my life, engineering is NOT what I want to do. It feels crazy because I have accomplished so much in that field, but I don't want to do it anymore. I love art, music, and lately language learning. I originally found your channel because I am studying Japanese. I love your energy, and you give great content. I will say I like more about your channel than just the language learning aspects, so I think your rebranding is a great idea. I am trying to grow my new channel dedicated to my music composing. My dream is to get into composing for video games and get out of the engineering world completely. I would love to hear your thoughts on doing that. I want to get out of my comfort zone as I also want to improve in other things. Like everyday in Highschool, I want to sit with my friends but I feel like, the more i sit with them, i am locking myself to them and not talking to other classmates and learning new things. Praying to God has helped me be more comfortable by being uncomfortable. I am just glad, my mental health is getting better day by day. Hi Pearly, as you said too I also came from the language learning algorithm, but I'm now ended with this crucial video that you are pouring out your honesty and real thoughts. Listening your story, I truly know that feeling like "I want to come out of my comfort zone whenever I want, but what if it turns wrong?" I debate this a lot every single day,,, you are not alone. Si tu as abandonner ton travail qui te tenais à cœur c’est pas pour rien car ça veux dire que tu n’étais pas épanouie,donc si c’est pour faire quelque chose qui t’épanoui plus sur you tube ça serai vraiment triste. Étant donner que tu as décidé de devenir créatrice de contenue alors tu dois faire ce que tu aime et ce qui te passionne sinon tu vas le regretter, encore une fois tu as abandonner un bon travail pour ça. il ne faut pas faire l’erreur que font d’autres à s’enfermé dans une case et finalement à faire des vidéos qu’ils aiment plus réaliser et ensuite déprimer ça reviendrai à être l’esclave de tes abonner. Je pense qu’en tant que créateur tu doit faire ce qui te plais, essayer des choses, bien sur essayer de faire aussi des choses que beaucoup aiment , mais surtout pas s’enfermer que sur ça. De plus si tu fais ce qui te tiens à cœur au moins ce qui resteront seront là pour les bonnes raisons car ils te regarderons pour ton travail et ta personnalité. Moi perso je t’es découvert grâce au vidéo sur comment apprendre des langues mais comme j’ai apprécier ton travail et ta personnalité j’ai aussi regarder d’autres de tes vidéo tels que tes voyageurs et j’ai aimer tout autant . Bon courage pour la suite 👍
