Yeah. Loud just to be loud is no good to me either. Where I am so many Hondas and Toyotas are just loud. Always. Almost even at idle. So many resonators and mufflers out there that will give a good tone. That Eclipse is looking more like a great starting point too. Inside almost immaculate. If it hasn't been seriously wrecked, the body will be easy to bring back too.

Loud = more visible to other drivers in all fairness. Although not everyone likes "loud".. people are slightly more aware that a vehicle is there or coming when it's louder. Similar to how bikes rev to help drivers be more aware of their presence.
