Check with a CPA or your states Department of Taxation on what to do about charging sales tax. Do not go by what another vender is saying. Start keeping your records on a spreadsheet for easier tax records when time to file your taxes. Remember to keep all receipts for all supply purchases and show fees.

​@@miss.a.crochet im new as well, what I am doing is for square/card payments the tax is additional (i.e. a 5$ item will cost them 5 + tax). For cash, a 5 dollar item will just cost them 5. then I will calculate the tax out of all of the cash :) Thats just what I am doing
