Would you be able to disable the frog ai like you can with villagers using double carpets/minecarts to reduce lag? Also maybe smaller kill chambers or froglight type exclusive chambers would reduce lag by enabling item stacking, and you could maybe make a localized shulker loader for each kill chamber rather than throwing froglights through a global water stream then loading from there

Stromne, that third is a very nice thought concept, but I think there are some improvements to be made: Soul sand bottom instead of flowing water inside of the chambers, so that not only the cubes are shoot you but little cubes get out faster and the magma balls are also collected. Divide the collection chamber by two and do not have they connected by those rails, the time between the hopper carts traveling is letting item entities exist for a lot more time than if you just did have separate collections. You could also just have the frogs all together in an enclosed space in a way that you can collect their drops thru a mud, and direct all little magma cubes into the same spot instead of having them spread out, just making sure that they will be in range of a frog at all times. Also that could help with lag since if the farm started overloading the little cubes would die of entity cramming.

Soul sand would create bubble columns as you stated and then that wouldn't drown. Mobs breathe in bubble columns too

@@Stromne ohh, correct, in that case why dont you have the water of the last layer to, instead, flow into some type of hitbox filter, the same you have on the cieling but horizontally, in a way that only smal magma cubes can go thru. getting the magma balls is not really neeeedeeed... but its kinda good to prevent something ever happening, a build up

@@MoonyInspired i did work originally with horizontal water because it was better at clearing out the buildup of magma cream, but the medium magma cubes didn't di because their center was above the water line. There are going to be other ways to filter the magmas, ilmango just uploaded one with chains. This was working well for me so i went with it

I think I will just go with the third design, but one chunk - two layers. Alternative killing method - instead of using fences and walls - can they drop into Powder snow?

Great farm I almost put the level 3 in my nether perimeter but I'm glad I didn't. This farm is definantly fast enough without it To anyone about to build this I seriously recommend replacing thefloor underneath the frogs with honey It will greatly reduce the amount of lag the frogs cause

I was in a testingstage to figure out a froglight farm yesterday. I usually dont watch youtube how to bc thats no fun. But I ended up almost like your last farm. Nice to see that im att your level of farmmaking :D

Would the frogs standing on honey cause the rates to go down? I know you can get better performance by making the frogs think they can't jump.

Don't mobs on honey blocks still try to jump, just can't? I know I've had villagers sitting on honey blocks behind a counter bobbing up and down constantly in the past.

Any idea what the rates on your L1 on the roof are? I'm sure it far surpasses the L2 rates.

Just tested myself. rates are 5.3k/hr on the roof. But if you swap all walls for fences, the rates rocket to 12k/hr. Having the golems process the large cubes sounds like a good idea. but in practice, it far extends their life since they keep getting knocked back and then the medium cubes build up on the spawn platforms.

further testing shows you only even need 1 layer to achieve 12k since the mobcap will be full either way.

Rates on the roof will be better, but rules for level 1 include no-glitch. And most of the community (even those of us that use the roof like myself) consider the roof a glitch. My fist video on frog light farms uses the roof

@@Stromne got it. I don't think I ever realized that all your L1s we're glitchless. Anyway, your L1, on the roof, with a single platform, with fences instead of walls, makes one heck of a 1D frog light farm at 12k/hr

When my frogs eat magmaslimes, they only give the magmaslimeballs, no frog lights :(

The small magmas don't drop magma cream balls, so something else is wrong with the setup. Is the world vanilla?

@@Stromne oh, my world is Vanila yea, but.... i used vanila tweaks by xisumavoid to put of mob greefing, maybe it has something to do with it. thanks for reminding me, i have lot's of testing to do :D
