I am 30 days into raid today, So far the biggest boost ive had by unpopular picks is - Bulwark for rare, he help push me to 1 key normal CB.- Wuzgar for Epic, he opened up FK for me with that quad A1 and reflect damage A3. and I havent pulled a lego yet but soon I hope!

I've been playing for about 3 months now. I appreciate your channel since most of the top youtubers just seem out of touch with the newbs most of the time. It makes sense, though, since this isn't really a game that I can see most new players sticking around for long in. For me I cracked Riho Bonespear on my first void shard pull and she has completely carried me up till where I'm at now. Wixwell is the only other legendary I have that's starting to make a similar impact on my account. I also started with the Deacon new player code and he has been the #1 epic for me and it's not even close. As for rares it's Kael. I know he's an obvious one but he's the only rare that I have to ask myself "why wouldn't I use him right now" any time I'm making a team. All of my other rares have just been niche use or faction wars. If I had to pick a "secret" epic that you don't hear a lot about I'd have to go with Frostbringer. A 60% decrease defense on a random 3 hitter and a big team attack and speed buff is pretty all around useful.

Completely agree about versatility. Especially for new players, it's better to get champs who can be used in the most areas of the game and then slowly acquire more niche champs later on. I think the most helpful rares i got within my first month were petrifya, master butcher and muckstalker

My "secret" rare would probably be Soulbound bowyer. I need to regear her but she's been core for my FK 20 team for ages and was very helpful in spider progression. She's also one of the best rare secret room champs in doom tower if you can put her in stun gear. She was also big for helping me deal with UDK teams for quite a while with that ignore def a2, good affinity, and ease in building 100% crit. For epics its gotta be Klodd beastfeeder. He was really helpful for early CB teams with his inc spd/acc plus a handy healing passive. He has been a scarab solo champ for me thanks to that passive and I currently have him high res + decent speed build used in a geomancer IT team and in my TTA speed team with Arbiter and Armanz. Most of the leggos I have taken to 60 are widely considered pretty good... I guess I'd have to go with the lowest rated on hellhades of the ones I've maxed in Tormin. I pretty consistently use him in Live Arena and have built a team around him for TTA (Arbais, Artak, Criodan, Tormin) and his passive alone will almost singlehandedly win like 1/2 of the battles I bring him to. He is incredibly fun to use.

I saw in your other video that your power score is under 300 and you need to get to at least 320 so that you can start leveling up your artifacts and optimizing other things but for that you need a certain power and it will take a while until you get there, but that's the fascinating thing about the game. It's nice to see that there are still young KZbin channels that deal with this game and I also have to say that this game is about the process and the long, difficult path to the top and it's not about having everything fully upgraded at the touch of a button in order to crack the high score. I can understand that you are not as far along as some TOP KZbinrs who have been playing this RAID game for many years and have already invested over 1,00 dollars or much more, but I would definitely recommend that you upgrade all your artifacts to level 2, because that is a game changer for you, since you are still at the very beginning. But I also think that you are not ready yet and your champions are not strong enough to even pass these levels that are necessary for you to get the oils so that you can finally upgrade your artifacts to level 2 because even people with extremely strong champions have problems with that. I know people who have been playing this game for three or four years and they are no further ahead than you and these people don't have a KZbin channel and not much to do with the internet, but it's interesting to see how different we all are ranked in this game and it's really about the strategy not just about playing.

in the spirit of "secret" weapons, I think Bulwark gets the least love and helped me a great deal. I was able to create an "unkillable" team where the stun hit had to be tanked. Bulwark took that hit like a beast and did good damage too, enabling a 1 key UNM with three rares and two epics.

rare would be Gator with his 3 turn full cleanse. Epic Criodan. freezes anything i can't kill, i only have 3 leggos so would have to go with Teodor lol

Im on day 148, cleared all dungeons lvl 20 except iron twins, sand devil and shogun, and at 530 in faction wars. I will be honest I have spent money on prism shards(59$ each time) just because the epic champions are really helpfull. Gotten Geomancer, fenax, mordecai, maneater, Razelvarg, Sethalia and Dune lord, a few others aswell. But I also have pulled alot of good ones from shards Rector Drath, stag knight, Urogrim, Neldor, Bivald, Fatman and the list goes on. Think im just lucky 😇 My secret weapons have to be Rathalos, Rector Drath I think for progression she is insane, Good old Athel for rare spot, Alure has also been amazing for turn meter control.

no secret rares that everyone doesnt already know about but for epic id say Skeuramis and Oella for legendary. She is godly
