I am a subscriber and believe that I have watched all of the channel's content. I don't recall a discussion about the check engine light. What is the cause of the warning light? I have almost all of my supporting equipment for the Top Gunz Ace Supercharger Kit (the supercharger head unit is the holdup). We have emissions testing every two years in Chicago and the check is for codes, not an actual tail pipe sniffer. I want to anticipate potential issues - that's why I am asking about the CEL.

I really recommend putting forged pistons and rods in it in the future if you can afford the downtime. The further you push it something is going to give, even with proper tuning. Forged internals gives you a much better safety net in case something weird happens like a random lean spike. I've been there lol. It takes all of 2 seconds to crack a stock piston if it goes lean.

Yeah, my 7AT self destructed at 45k with just an exhaust/intakes and some aggressive driving. It seems hit/miss with those as some have the trans cooler and seem to hold up fine, while others are on their 2nd/3rd (if you track/auto-x = higher likelyhood of bad news); I'm not sure on if the upgraded FI flexplate would help or not?

Should look into the aam r oil cooler for your 370z. It doesn’t use that type of setup it cools your oil with tieing into the lower radiator line and use antifreeze too cool your oil. It keeps your oil 40-90 degrees cooler

wow. My 2014 370z 7AT went out at just over 45000 miles, and that's just daily driving, occasional canyon fun, completely stock other than an exhaust and intakes; I'm completely SHOCKED that 7AT handles the boost without utter self destruction.

Tomei is the "in/flat bill hat" exhaust everyone gravitates towards for some reason... IDK... For us OLD and boring people, the Fast Intentions carbon fiber dual exhaust with an 18" resonator sounds/looks better for "us people" that just want to be left alone, don't need or want CONSTANT attention from everyone on the road, and don't want to be pulled over/hassled because of perception, while still having a much much improved sound over stock.
