So many great tips. Using a one sided template then flipping it for the bridge is a great idea - you are guaranteed symmetry!

Thank you! If I had a cnc, I’d likely make a full sized template. As it is now, I don’t trust myself to evenly shape both halves of a template exactly the same, lol!

It's looking great Chris. I like the idea of thicknessing the neck with the drill press plane. Watching you make your bridge I sort of wish I had gone that way for my current build. Ah well, next time. 😎😎

Tyanks Mark! I think I will take evem more off with the drill press planer next time. I think I still left it too thick and the neck carve still seemed to take too long getting to final thickness. I do like that I am using my own design on the bridge, although I still want to develop it further. I may also modify the headstock shape. Thanks for watching!!

I have also just completed Stewmac OM kit, sounds sweet , but I have a feeling , that this guitar is too bright, loud and bassy, What do you feel about your, remedy to balance it ??

I’m not experienced enough to be able to fully diagnose why your build is bright and bassy. I do know that thickness of the top, the shape of the braces, and the type of wood used can affect those things. Thanks for watching!
