Yeah I'm glad I've saved it an it's changed so much since this video an taken me everywhere I needed to go with not a issue. Truck is a 2.8 carbureted v6 with a 4l60 automatic transmission now . But soon will be swapping engines again to another 2.8 cause this one has bad bearings . There is more content an videos of the truck on the channal

Thanks ha I have had so many of these sence this video . So I know pretty much top to bottom on these , an you need to see this truck now it definitely doesn't look the same I'll leave a link to it now but you definitely won't recognize it . I've done so much work an time on this truck an so many trips to junkyard to find parts for it . Yeah me too best 400 I ever spent . And just crazy how much the truck has been an changed since this video . I have some pic and post of this on Facebook and Instagram when I first bought and brought it home cause in this video it looks little better but when I actually bought it and towed it home oh man it was bad no chrome no anything the front grill was different.

I had a 91 2.5 that I had to replace the head gasket. It was a pretty easy job considering I am no mechanic.

Yeah that seems to be very common in these 2.5s cause I have owned 2 more sense this video and they both either ended up having a Head blown too or did it shortly after owning it .

CD'S repairs and automotive It blew a timing belt at 150.000 miles. I could have replaced it but I sold it and bought a 92 lesabre for $500.00. It was a little nicer. The century was in pretty nasty shape. It was also going to cost $1000 to have it fixed. But I got 2 good years out of it.

Well that was like 4 years ago now but yeah there is still some around. Just most ones I find are actually in worse shape now many that are $500 bucks need a engine or trans an or rusted an most are to far away from me an it's just they got really crapy on one's that I find like the shape is what I mean like beat up or the interior missing parts or dashes all tore up or have alot miles . But this truck I still own it's on the channel u need to go see it now ha cause the truck has changed so much sence then .

You still have this vehicle? Watched 1 of your older vids just picked up an 85 s10 manual w/123k on it out of Bristol 1 owner. Needs some minor repairs but either thing is all original. Got the 2.8 in my friend is trying to get me to upgrade to an 8c but i kinda like the 6.

It’s really hard to find these 1980’s s10/s15 trucks that are untouched I I have a 1992 gmc Sonoma myself with the 4.3 v6 regular cab long bed with the 700r4 that 2.5 is a beast I had a 1992 s10 with it an I towed cars with it lol! I also have the 2.5 an two of my celebrity’s an in my 1986 Oldsmobile cutlass ciera the 2.8 V6 is a great engine to I had that in a 85 an 91 s10 I also have a 2.8 in my 1985 celebrity wagon

Yeah I haven't really seen the 2.5 4cylinder except on a Chevy Celebrity thry used those engines and so did a lot of other vehicles too but there very rare now I don't really see that engine on the road much not sure if that is a good sign or bad but ince I pull the head off completely and see if the gasket just failed or if it is a crackhead if it's just the gasket then I'll redo the hole thing make it good again and paint it but if not I'll probably be swapping it out for a V8 juest because I can't find parts for it like another head and a bran new one cost about $400 I rather spend that in a another engjne

Sweet man awesome , this truck is actually white now the grey that was on it was something someone had sprayed on it and I have been working on getting it all off and getting it back to its original color which is Frost White . Also the engine and transmission has been changed I swapped to a 2.8v6 carb 4l60 auto
